I used 2 x elegance half wefts (70g each)

Why choose half wefts instead of a full weft….?

I choose to use half wefts so that I can customise the colour to perfectly match the client. So much more natural!

Often the underneath of the hair is darker so I choose a bottom row that reflects that. This makes wearing extensions with your hair up so much more discreet and allows the blonder shades to really pop.

For the top row I choose a blonder shade as this is going to be seen more around the clients face and add additional brightness to the colour.

Shades used were T5-7/20 and 9/55

This transformation was created with a custom blend of ultra tips and nano bonds.

Why did I use bonds for this transformation?

1) Bonds are great for adding length to really short hair as it moves like natural hair

2 the bond allows you to place the hair closer to the hairline at the back and front leaving less tell tale signs of extensions.

3) you can mix shades more to create a more realistic colour result. Most heads of hair have multiple colours in not just one or two.

4) they are easy to change the placement, meaning we can have less or more or move them around in future giving the client more options down the road.

For this transformation we went from blonde highlights to a full copper

3 things I consider when doing a colour change

1) the clients skin tone and the clothes/colours they wear. This shows what pallets they lean towards day to day and shows you their personality

2) if they want to reverse the colour the road back… sometimes people want to try things out but may want to go back to natural. It’s important they understand the journey and are aware.

3) future maintainance and fade factor. And anything that’s going to help them in the future( eg colour masks )

This colour suits my client and her skin tone so much, her eyes just pop with this colour 💡💥
