• 1.5 cups peanuts (roasted & peeled)
• 1 to 1¼ cups jaggery (grated)
• 2 to 4tbsp water
• 1 pinch baking soda (optional)
• 1 tsp ghee
• ¼ tsp cardamom powder
• 1 small pinch salt
Method
1. Prepare peanuts
• Roast, peel, and keep ready.
2. Melt jaggery
• Heat jaggery + water till fully melted.
• Strain and return to pan.
3. Cook syrup
• Boil till hard ball stage:
👉Drop in cold water → should turn hard & snap
4. Flavor it
• Add ghee + cardamom powder + pinch of salt
• Mix quickly
5. Add peanuts
• Mix everything fast so syrup coats well
6. Optional
• Add a pinch of baking soda for light crunch
7. Shape quickly
• Pour onto greased surface
• Flatten fast (it sets very quickly!)
8. Cut & cool
• Cut while warm, then let it cool completely
