Bees provide far more than just honey—they sustain life on Earth! Honey is simply a minor byproduct of their hard work. The greatest service bees render to humanity and the ecosystem is pollination.
​1. How Do Bees Help Produce Food?
For many plants, fruits, and vegetables to set seed and grow, pollen must transfer from the male part of a flower to the female part. As bees sip nectar from a flower, pollen grains stick to their furry bodies and transfer to the next blossom they visit. Without this natural process, flowers cannot transform into fruits or seeds.
