سفارت جاپان در افغانستان اعلام کرده است که با حمایت این کشور، بخش زنان سازمان ملل متحد (UN Women) برنامه‌ای جدید به ارزش ۸۲۶ هزار و ۶۶۶ دالر را در افغانستان راه‌اندازی کرده است.

هدف این برنامه، حمایت از زنان و دخترانی است که از پاکستان و ایران بازگشته‌اند و با هدف کمک به آنان برای بازسازی زندگی‌شان تطبیق می‌شود.

بر بنیاد اعلامیه سفارت جاپان، این برنامه زمینه دسترسی زنان و دختران بازگشته را به خدمات اساسی، از جمله حمایت از معیشت و خدمات حفاظتی فراهم خواهد کرد.
