She loves her brushing time & walks together..
Loves carrotsπ₯ but not apples ππyet she still flicking them out of her feed bucket βΊπͺ£
Also made friends with the Roosterπ π€π
Definitely more comfortable with little ppl around ππ½ππ₯°π£..

Quite extraordinary the change in Nalla! I believe the word is trustπ
Her confidence & differences in the last week is outstandingπ΄
I am so glad she is homeπ»
She is part of the family nowπ₯°
I can not even begin to imagine what she was going through..
Taken from her home & family, a little over a month ago she dropped her foal who was about 6 months along..
We were waiting for some training to be done so we left her in Victoria with Yinni to be transported together.
The uncertainty she must of been going through π
And that is only what I know to be true.
π₯°Can't wait to watch her grow π₯°

Monday night Tom came to check and Ultrasound Yinni's Leg ..
Removal of the bandages displayed infection in the bone & Ultrasound confirmed tendons barly connected...
So for the last act of kindness we had to let our Stunning Soulful Blue Boy go from this world
ππππ..
It has rocked everyone to the absolute core..
Even the Brums weren't there usual selves yesterday.
Thankyou to those who did everything possible to help Yinni & ourselves through this difficult devastating time.

Update..
We have been waiting for the weather and transport to align as we can not truck if we have any snow or ice on the roads.
I got a call on Wednesday (6th) saying Yinni Blue had got his leg wrapped in wire..
My Heart dropped πππππ..
Thankfully Mandy and Rohan were there with Blue. I can not imagine what that must of been like for them.. ππππππ΄πππ
1st Vet ..
She said she Suspected Extensor and Flexor tendon damage lateral aswell as dorsal.. complicated wounds down to the bone.
Cleaned and wrapped but swollen by this stage so could not confirm and talked about euthanasia from a welfare point.
Second phone call on Friday night from Vet Ruby said is complicated spoke to the surgeon and wanted to cast it for upward of $6000. for 6 weeks and box/stable rest.
For Me ...Gutted would be and understatement at this point..
Mandy and I agree on many things and we need to at least try the cast. Yinni Blue is still young and do not feel he was brought into our lives for just these fleeting moments. We have so much love for this Boy he is one of family..
Can not wait to watch him grow and mature and for everyone to meet him ππππ
Dakoda and myself left Friday night got here yesterday for the 2nd Vets Tom's opinion..
It was similar assessment but with a difference...
His cost for casting Yinni Blue Leg is $500 .. YES YES you read it right!!!
So the plan is to Cast leg on Monday.
Dakoda and myself are down here.. We will make a plan today regarding transporting him closer and even Home But he needs to be undercover for the cast to stay dry.. at the moment we only have Yards.. so lots to think about.
So needing everyone to send love and healing for his full recovery
And to bring them both home!!

Progress of the last couple of days, On the way home picked up panels, checked out the last place Ned Kelly last stood.. Had the pleasure of meeting Deb & some fresh new Brumsππ΄
Plus Saw an old mate on the Snowy Mountain on Hwy π₯°..
Got home unloaded/ set up yards and in the rain had the help of the one & only Miss Yarra π¦ supervising cutting new tubs for feed for Yinni & Nalla todayπππ½ππ½
Slight change in plans for today due to this crazy cold and wet weatherπ§π«π¬
Got to spend time with Yinni & even Dakoda came in to love on him touch him all over π
I did managed to get some video this time.. a little hard to video and work one handed π€π
Such an honour to have this privilege to walk a Journey with these Animals.
Was super scary for me around the responsibilities stuff but something that I've wanted for so long don't let fear stop you.. Definitely follow your heart totally worth every moment.
So Much Gratitude for a couple of very special people for this to happen Xx.
To think of the possible fate these stunning creatures would have had if Melbourne Brumbie Rehomers did not exist.. ππ
As some of you may not know is that the parks require you to take a minimum of 5 Brumbies at a time. Which is just out of reach for us at this time. Until we are fully set up with BarefootGuides Property.. Which We are very certainly working towards!
Defs let me know if you are interested Brumbies are life changing!!!
I can whole heartily say that they save lives.
