Anyone can learn how to install hair; but not everyone takes the time to educate their clients.

I’ve learned that real results come from more than just placement and tension. It’s about teaching every client how to care for their wefts, how to brush them properly, how to dry them correctly, and how to maintain the integrity of their natural hair underneath.

When you understand your extensions, they last longer, they look better, and you actually enjoy the experience instead of worrying about damage or slippage.

That’s what separates a stylist from a specialist.

I still remember the day I finished an install in record time.

I was proud; it looked good, my client was happy, and I thought I’d nailed it.

But a week or so later, she messaged saying her wefts were slipping, her scalp felt tight, and something just wasn’t sitting right.

That was my wake-up call.

I realised I wasn’t proud of how fast I was; I wanted to be proud of how intentional I was.

When you rush an install, you miss the little things: tension consistency, weft alignment, proper blending, and the time to truly read your client’s hair.
Those details are what separate an “install” from a custom experience.

Now, I take my time; because your hair deserves to be handled with care, precision, and purpose.
