I received a message today that completely broke my heart. 💔
One of my beautiful long-time clients, Gina, sadly passed away 3 weeks ago after being diagnosed with cancer only 15 weeks earlier.
I had the privilege of doing Gina’s brows for around 5 years, and over those years she became so much more than just a client to me. When you see someone for years, you share conversations, laughs, stories and little moments of their life — and you never imagine one day receiving a message like this. 😭💔
Her daughter sent me this beautiful photo from Gina’s final day and told me that while she was fixing her mum’s face, Gina smiled and said:
“Thank f**k for Nilo that I have good brows.” 🥹😭
She also joked that she was glad she didn’t have those “pink brows” on her death bed. Even in her final days, she still had her sense of humour. 🥹🤍
I cried reading that message. To think that something as small as doing someone’s brows could become a little memory in their final days is something I will carry with me forever.
This is why, after all these years, my work has never just been about brows. It’s about the beautiful women I meet, the trust they give me, the stories they share with me and the relationships that grow over the years.
Rest peacefully, beautiful Gina. 🕊️🤍
I will always remember your beautiful face, your humour, and of course… your beautiful brows. 🥹

I didn’t share her before photo because the previous work was extremely poor, and she was understandably terrified of having her brows redone. She had lost so much confidence and trust in the process.
I promised her that I would give her my full attention, care, and expertise to help restore not only her brows but also her confidence.
Moments like these remind me why I love what I do. Helping my clients regain their confidence will always be more valuable than anything else.
