We are only humans. Mums - keep that in mind.

Even Wonderwoman Diana breaks too. She bleeds and she cries. We all have our weaknesses and our bodies give up.

Listen to your bodies. I might say I’m taking it easy but being a mum doesn’t really allow us to do that. Moreso having 3 little children to look after. With the weather hitting close to freezing point this past few days, the kids started to get unwell. The bugs circulated all over the house and hit each of us one by one. Thank God Psalm was spared - she’s totally fine. Now my turn. I was doing fine until 2am that I started coughing and have itchy throat. I was having chills. This morning, with heater already on, double jumper and pants, plus a thick blanket, I still feel cold. I am not well. My body sore. Like my body really sore that I don’t want to move.

Let’s all be healthy and well especially to the mums who have a family to take care of. Take vitamins, drink plenty of water, eat healthy. Rest when you need it. Take a nap when you can.

Wishing everyone a wonderful and blessed week ahead.

💗,
Pauline

Let’s talk about side hustles.

Don’t underestimate what you earn from your extra gigs. No matter how little they can be, when put together still makes up something. Something is still something and can go a long way. Something is better than nothing.

Imagine receiving at least $100 a week for a hire of just one baby shower package. That’s $400 a month and can cover for the groceries or water bills or electric bills or can be just savings. If you have at least 4 sets and all get booked in a week then that’s $400 a week making $1,600 extra a month.

In time you can grow your business, expand to add more products or services from a small start.

My points:
1. Side hustles work no matter how small the income is.
2. We all start from somewhere. May be something small. The important thing is we started, we tried.
3. Investment is required when you put up a business. It doesn’t need to be big.
4. You may not care about the $ incentive. You need to keep your sanity. Your side hustle might be your stress-reliever.

So if you’re on a side hustle, keep pushing. If you know someone that has a small business, support them. ❤️

Bless you,
Pauline

THE TOXINS OF THE HOUSE ARE:

1. Objects You No Longer Use.
2. Clothes You Don't Like Or Haven't Used In A While. Damaged underwear.
3. Broken Things.
4. Old cards and notes.
5. Plants that are dead or sick.
6. Receipts and Old Magazines.
9. Shoes Broke.
7. Stuff of all kinds calling the past.
8. If you have children, toys that are not used, that do not work or broken.

WITH CLEANING THEM OUT:
1. Health gets better.
2. Creativity grows.
3. Relationships get better.
4. There is greater reasoning capacity.
5. Improved mood.

QUESTIONS THAT MIGHT HELP CLEANSING:
- Why am I saving that?
- Is it about me today?
- How will I feel if I release that?

Separate and classify:
1. To donate.
2. To throw.
3. To sell.

INSIDE CLEANING REFLECTED OUTSIDE.
1. Avoid extreme noises.
2. Less strong lights.
3. Less saturated colors.
4. Less chemical odors.
5. Less sad memories.
6. Finish unfinished projects.
7. Cultivate positive energy in your home.

Do a general cleaning and use boxes for organization. Start with drawers and cabinets and conclude each piece, do everything at your pace...

a) Trash.
b) Arrangements.
c) Recycling.
d) In doubt.
e) Gifts.
(f) Donation.
g) Sell.

As you CLEANSE, watch what changes in you.
As we clean our physical house, we also place order to our mind and heart.

Practice detachment with material things that just fill your space and you'll see how you'll slowly be able to do the same with more momentous situations.

Blessed be for you always. ✨✨

Motherhood is filled with contradictions.

It causes us constant guilt, while bringing us infinite joy.
It is filled with uncertainty and fear, while also showing us a strength and courage that we didn’t know existed.
Kids will push our buttons and test our patience more than anyone else, but we would walk through fire for them without a moment’s hesitation.
We feel overwhelmed and crave time to ourselves, but we feel sad and like a part of us is missing when they aren’t around.
𝐼𝑡 𝑖𝑠 ℎ𝑎𝑟𝑑𝑒𝑠𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑤𝑒’𝑙𝑙 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟 𝑑𝑜, 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑘𝑖𝑑𝑠 𝑖𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑖𝑒𝑠𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑤𝑒’𝑙𝑙 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟 𝑑𝑜.

Motherhood is filled with contradictions.

We grieve the prior versions of our kids, but also love and cherish who our kids are in the present.
It is the greatest responsibility of our lives, while also being the greatest privilege.
We teach and guide our kids, but our kids are our greatest teachers of all.
It robs us of our identity, while molding us into a better version of ourselves.
𝐼𝑡 𝑖𝑠 𝑓𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑑 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑚𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑠𝑠, 𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑜𝑠, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑢𝑛𝑝𝑟𝑒𝑑𝑖𝑐𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑦, 𝑎𝑠 𝑤𝑒𝑙𝑙 𝑎𝑠 𝑡𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑛𝑒𝑠𝑠, 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑏𝑒𝑎𝑢𝑡𝑦.

Motherhood is filled with contradictions.
It will bring us our highest highs and our lowest lows.

Motherhood is filled with contradictions.

But the love…
𝐴 𝑚𝑜𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟’𝑠 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒.

SOME SOCIAL RULES THAT MAY HELP YOU:

1. Don’t call someone more than twice continuously. If they don’t pick up your call, presume they have something important to attend to;

2. Return money that you have borrowed even before the person that borrowed you remember or ask for it. It shows your integrity and character. Same goes with umbrellas, pens and lunch boxes.

3. Never order the expensive dish on the menu when someone is giving you a lunch/dinner.

4. Don’t ask awkward questions like ‘Oh so you aren’t married yet?’ Or ‘Don’t you have kids’ or ‘Why didn’t you buy a house?’ Or why don't you buy a car? For God’s sake it isn’t your problem;

5. Always open the door for the person coming behind you. It doesn’t matter if it is a guy or a girl, senior or junior. You don’t grow small by treating someone well in public;

6. If you take a taxi with a friend and he/she pays now, try paying next time;

7. Respect different shades of opinions. Remember what's 6 to you will appear 9 to someone facing you. Besides, second opinion is good for an alternative;

8. Never interrupt people talking. Allow them to pour it out. As they say, hear them all and filter them all;

9. If you tease someone, and they don’t seem to enjoy it, stop it and never do it again. It encourages one to do more and it shows how appreciative you're;

10. Say “thank you” when someone is helping you.

11. Praise publicly. Criticize privately;

12. There’s almost never a reason to comment on someone’s weight. Just say, “You look fantastic.” If they want to talk about losing weight, they will;

13. When someone shows you a photo on their phone, don’t swipe left or right. You never know what’s next;

14. If a colleague tells you they have a doctors' appointment, don’t ask what it’s for, just say "I hope you’re okay". Don’t put them in the uncomfortable position of having to tell you their personal illness. If they want you to know, they'll do so without your inquisitiveness;

15. Treat the cleaner with the same respect as the CEO. Nobody is impressed at how rude you can treat someone below you but people will notice if you treat them with respect;

16. If a person is speaking directly to you, staring at your phone is rude;

17. Never give advice until you’re asked;

18. When meeting someone after a long time, unless they want to talk about it, don’t ask them their age and salary;

19. Mind your business unless anything involves you directly - just stay out of it;

20. Remove your sunglasses if you are talking to anyone in the street. It is a sign of respect. Moreso, eye contact is as important as your speech; and

21. Never talk about your riches in the midst of the poor. Similarly, don't talk about your children in the midst of the barren.

22.After reading a good message try to say "Thanks for the message".

APPRECIATION remains the easiest way of getting what you don't have.
