Northside Acupuncture

Well that's it for me, I have closed the doors on my clinic in Balgowlah for the last time, a new year and a new chapter, we are moving to the South Coast where I will be working a couple of days a week, and the rest of the time I will spend working on our farm.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank you all for your past patronage of my clinic, without you all I wouldn't be able to reflect on all the knowledge I have gained and all the wonderful ladies and gentlemen I have met over the last twenty years.
Thank you everyone of you, its been an honour to have met you all and to have helped you in a small way during your lifes journey, all the best for the future, regards Robert.

Well its been sometime since I have logged onto the Northside page, its been a busy few years, and I have probably been a little remiss as far as posting goes here.
I have 4 beautiful grand children now, time flies by so fast and before you know it there is an old man looking back at you in the mirror every morning, well maybe not that old but you know what I mean.
I have seen so many beautiful women come through the clinic and have been privileged in that respect, to be able to help a lot of them to achieve their aims of having a family of their own is very special to me.
I honestly don't know how many babies there have been, I stopped counting a long time ago but it is now a considerable number, and there are still more due in the next few weeks and the coming New Year.
I would just like to thank you all past and present ladies, for giving me the opportunity to know you and be of some help in your individual journey's.
I would also like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Safe, , Happy and Merry Christmas, and a Wonderful New Year for 2022, it will be in all probability my last year in the Balgowlah clinic, so thank you all once again ,stay safe and well.

What are your thought on this? I received an email from AHPRA advising I must tell my patients how good myhealthrecord is and to encourage everyone to be on it.
😱Can you imagine if you ever need to use travel medical insurance, only to return home & find out the insurance company have accessed your file & deemed because of an incident 10 years ago that you do not quality for the medical assistance you received while oseas on holidays because they deem it to be a pre existing illnesses that is not claimable?

This government has not been very forthcoming in telling you that you can opt out. If you don't opt out, then you are officially CONSENTING to having your private health records shared to whoever they want.
These are the concerns (shared from another page):
"Hi Peeps, I caught up with a dear friend today who is a psychologist.She showed me a letter she received from the Australian Government. She had professional concerns about the new law coming in about the E RECORDS. The new digital data collection medical record services that EVERYONE IS BEING PUT ON UNLESS YOU MAKE CONTACT TO OPT OUT. There is only a 3 month OPT period after that there is NO REVERSING the transition. The OPT OUT PERIOD is 16th JULY to 15th OCT 2018 ONLY.
The digital health agency. www.myhealthrecord.gov.au, Phone 1800723471. You must select OPT OUT for everyone in the family, children as well. And then phone the number to make sure it goes through.
These are her concerns.
1. The public hasn't been fully informed.
2. Once the DR adds to your file (like in a normal GP visit) it is not able to be removed. EVER. If the DR mis diagnoses you, too bad. it will always remain on your file. And Doctors are under no obligation to correct the records.
3. Insurance companies, the Aust Govt. Superannuation companies are all ALLOWED access to this medical information to make assessments and determinations.
4. Pharmacies also are allowed to contribute and have access to making notes without you knowing.
5. You have no access to your file. Regardless of the authority saying you might be able to, they have made it virtually impossible to gain ease of access. and then your files are limited.
So, she said. If a DR says on your file, patient seems anxious as Mother died. Then the next DR takes this information and determines you have an anxiety disorder. "I see this happen everyday and it concerns me." She also said. " One of the implications are as an example.. "if you apply for travel insurance for example, the insurance company has immediate access to your file to determine the premium, they can refuse insurance because three Doctors ago and many years ago, the GP said you seemed to have anxiousness.. Then you can be refused insurance."
The propaganda the Govt is using is, that it a really good system in an emergency. Everything in one easy place.
Interesting how things are changing in the world isn't it.

I have been a bit slack with up dating the Northside page so I think I should add some of the photos I have that have been sent to me from new Mums who came to Northside Acupuncture with problems conceiving and falling pregnant, I have more in the clinic of bubs that were born late December 2017 and early this year I will put their photo's up later, these ones are from late 2016 and right through till Novmember 2017, was a busy time and great to see all the new Mums and the bubs.
