More people are beginning to question the incentives behind major global health institutions. Groups like the World Health Organization hold significant influence over international health policy, funding decisions, and public guidance. Yet critics often point out that these organizations are not directly elected and operate within complex relationships involving governments, corporations, and the pharmaceutical industry. For some observers, the concern isn’t about public health itself — it’s about understanding who benefits when large-scale decisions, emergency frameworks, and global policies are implemented with limited public oversight. When institutions hold that much influence, transparency and accountability become even more important. Questioning powerful systems doesn’t mean rejecting science. It means encouraging open discussion, scrutiny, and informed debate when decisions affect billions of people. Think critically. Look at the incentives. Ask questions. #criticalthinking #powerstructures #globalhealth #medialiteracy #explorepage 30/05/2026
