Don't over complicate curls for kids. The language we use about their texture is important. Complaining about frizz or or messiness will lead to a resentment of texture. Curls won't behave the same as straight texture and it important not to expect it to.

All curls are unique. Clients also like their curls to look and feel a certain way. Every product choice and drying technique is purposefully made to achieve a certain look.

Im more of a Gray blender. I don't have many clients wanting to do a grey transformation but mum was ready ( it was her 2nd time doing this). The plan is to not touch her roots, so her natural colour can grow out and maintain the ends with toners every 6 weeks. She is maintaining tone with her Fanola no yellow shampoo at home.

It sucks when i hear that people find curls 'too hard' .
Good hair takes work. Period. Occasionally you get those people who have the 'perfect' hair with natural shine, effortless waves and highlights from the sun. (These people are usually children) Most of the time when you see a gorgeous head of hair there is a bit of effort that has been put in before hand.
You just need to choose what you want to put effort into. Maintaining straight hair or encouraging you curls.
