Its been a make over kinda week.

I love love love this.
We have been on a journey.
When this beautiful mamma came to see me first her hair was quite long but unfortunately it wasn’t in its glory days.

Building humans is really hard work and the result of that some times is hair loss, skin changes, body changes, confidence changes and honestly I could just keep listing.

Our goal has been bring the hair back to life and have it be her crown again.

We didn’t just chop it off in one day and go for a big change because it can be very hard to let go, when you have always had long hair and that’s been a part of you.

So first we lightened and did a modest clean up.
We settled into that for maybe a few weeks or so,
Then we went shorter as confidence grew,
Now we have shaped around some more and added some beautiful peek a boo highlights at the nape and a lovely soft money piece at the front.
We went for this placement to get maximum change with minimal maintenance. We didn’t want to have to commit to 6 week appointments so all the dark hair is her own natural colour.

My girl left absolutely rocking the new look. Honestly she was glowing, the joy it brings me to watch my people change from visit to visit is just crazy.
