Got to love happy little accidents ❤️☺️
Originally booked in for a refresher of purple foils, but we were given blue and blonde which gave a mermaid bubblegum vibe 🧜‍♀️🫧💜💙🤍☺️

What’s your superpower when you go into hyperfixation mode? ✨
Comment on this post and share your talent 🧠❤️

Mine is drawing and painting. I can completely lose myself in creativity for hours, tuning out the world while my brain pours everything into art 🎨✨

Hyperfixation can be exhausting at times, but it can also bring incredible creativity, passion, deep focus, and the ability to create something beautiful from the inside out.

So tell me… what do you become unstoppable at when the hyperfocus kicks in? 🧠🖤

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mums, especially those navigating motherhood while also managing their beautifully complex neurodivergent brains.

Growing up without understanding my neurodivergent brain, I often took the harder path in life. I was deeply defiant toward authority or advice and always felt determined that I had my own plan and way of doing things, something I now understand through the lens of PDA.

Becoming a mum at a young age became one of my greatest achievements, but also one of my biggest learning curves. For many years, I struggled quietly while trying to understand why motherhood felt different for me than it seemed to for so many others.

My children have been my greatest teachers. I am so grateful for their love, support and understanding of having a mum who doesn’t fit the usual narrative.

As we’ve grown together, understanding that we are all neurodivergent in different ways, ADHD, Autistic and PDA, has brought us so much clarity, compassion and acceptance. It has helped us recognise our strengths, honour our challenges, and focus on what truly fulfils us.

To the mums who feel different, overwhelmed, sensitive, awkward, burnt out, deeply feeling, or like they never quite fit the mould… you are not alone. Your way of mothering is still beautiful, valuable and enough.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the neurodivergent mums doing life in their own way 🤍

I’m not going to pretend I created Quiet Hare Studio from a place of perfection…
It actually came from years of feeling like I didn’t belong.

As a woman who lives with extreme social anxiety, awkwardness, and neurodivergent challenges, the world can feel… loud. Confusing.
Overwhelming.
Even in spaces that are meant to feel “normal” like a salon, I’ve often felt like the outsider looking in.

The pressure to talk.
To act a certain way.
To be “on.”
To not seem strange, quiet, or too much… or not enough.

It’s exhausting.

And I know I’m not the only one who feels this.

Some people don’t struggle with this and that’s okay.
But for those of us who do, something as simple as getting your hair done can take so much mental and emotional energy.

Quiet Hare Studio was created because I needed a space like this…
And I know others do too.

This is a space where you don’t have to mask.
You don’t have to fill the silence.
You don’t have to explain yourself.

If you’re awkward, you’re safe here.
If you’re anxious, you’re understood.
If you’ve always felt like the outsider, you’re not alone in this space.

This isn’t just about hair.
It’s about feeling comfortable enough to exist as you are.

🤍
