Sometimes life gives you a little wink. Weâre away on a rare holiday with the kids while Ava is in the middle of her HSC study. Family time has become so precious, and as I felt incredibly grateful for this moment together, I looked over to see this.
A double rainbow.
Whether you see it as a sign from the universe, a reminder from God, or simply nature showing off, it invited me to pause.
To remember that even after the darkest storms, beauty always finds a way through.
For me, healing has never just been about food, supplements or movement. Itâs also about noticing these moments. The ones that remind us weâre supported, connected and part of something much bigger than ourselves.
Maybe thatâs what mojo really is. Not chasing extraordinary moments, but being present enough to notice them when they appear.
Whatâs a little sign or moment recently that made you stop and smile?

Most of us choose berries because theyâre one of the healthiest foods we can eat.
Theyâre packed with antioxidants, fibre and nutrients that support our health.
So itâs concerning to see reports that Australiaâs pesticide regulator is considering increasing the maximum residue limit for the pesticide isocycloseram on some berries by up to 500 times. 500 times!!
The regulator says the proposed limits remain within safety standards. However, this pesticide is banned in many parts of the world because of the long term effects of increasing chemical exposure.
For me, this isnât about creating fear. Itâs about asking questions. âWhy in Australia are we accepting higher chemical residues on foods that are supposed to be good for us?â
Our bodies are already navigating a world filled with pesticides, plastics, heavy metals and other environmental toxins. Every small step we take to reduce that overall load matters.
Whenever possible, I choose organic berries, wash all my produce thoroughly and support local growers who prioritise sustainable farming. Itâs not about perfection. Itâs about making informed choices where we can.
What are your thoughts? Does this concern you, or do you feel comfortable with the current regulations?

Happy Mojo Monday.
We often think our lives change because of one big decision, but more often they're shaped by the small habits we choose every single day.
Every healthy meal. Every walk. Every deep breath. Every early night. Every moment we choose kindness over criticism, or presence over perfection.
These little choices might not feel life changing today, but they quietly become the life we create tomorrow.
This week, don't focus on doing everything perfectly. Just choose one habit your future self will thank you for, and keep choosing it.
What's one habit you're committing to this week? I'd love to hear it below.

Self-care isnât always a face mask or a massage.
Sometimes itâs saying no, going for a walk, or cooking a nourishing meal. It could be turning your phone off or going to bed earlier.
Every act of self-care is a vote for your future. Itâs a quiet way of saying, âI believe the person Iâm becoming is worth looking after.â
Today, instead of asking, âWhat do I feel like doing?â try asking, âWhat could I do today that my future self would thank me for?â
Maybe itâs going for a walk or making time to rest.
Whatever it is, make time for you today.

One of my greatest joys is watching young people discover what lights them up.
This weekend, Ava performed in , choreographed by the incredibly talented Jacob Yarr, alongside an amazing group of dancers who poured their hearts into every performance.
What made it even more inspiring was that Ava is still recovering from a fractured ankle. Wearing a brace, she wasnât able to perform every routine, but she showed up, adapted and gave her all. A beautiful reminder that healing doesnât always mean stopping. Sometimes it means finding a new way to keep doing what you love.
It was also wonderful to see her family come along to support her. That kind of friendship, encouragement and community is something we should never take for granted.
Congratulations to everyone involved. You were incredible.

Happy Mojo Monday đ
We often think the life we want will begin whenâŠ
âŠwe have more time.
âŠwe feel more confident.
âŠweâre healthier.
âŠlife finally slows down.
But the truth is, the life we want is built by the choices we make today.
Every nourishing meal.
Every walk in nature.
Every boundary we set.
Every moment we choose peace over pressure.
Every small act of kindness towards ourselves.
These arenât just healthy habits. Theyâre the building blocks of the person weâre becoming.
As you start this new week, ask yourself: Whatâs one thing I can do today that my future self will thank me for?
Start there.

For so many years I wore being busy like a badge of honour. I was always striving. Working harder. Trying to fit one more thing into the day.
Looking back, I realise I spent so much of my life doing that I forgot how to simply be.
Iâve always loved that Sunday has traditionally been seen as a day of rest. Whether thatâs through church, family lunches or simply slowing the pace, there was an understanding that we all need one day to pause before beginning again.
I think weâve lost a little of that.
These days, I try to protect Sundays a little more. Sometimes itâs a walk along Curl Curl Beach. Sometimes itâs sitting outside with a cup of tea. Sometimes itâs watching a movie with Brad, reading a few chapters of a book, having an afternoon nap or stretching on the lounge room floor.
None of those things are particularly productive. But every one of them helps my nervous system remember what safety feels like. And after everything my body has been through over the past fifteen years, Iâve realised thatâs never time wasted.
So today, whatever rest looks like for you, give yourself permission to enjoy it without feeling guilty.
The washing will still be there tomorrow. The emails can wait.
Sometimes the most productive thing we can do is absolutely nothing at all.
This weekâs gentle reminderâŠ
Rest isnât something you have to earn. Itâs something your body deserves.

âïž đ¶ Todayâs Recipe for mojo
The sunshine felt a little warmer today. Miley stopped to sniff every second tree.
I slowed down enough to notice.
Itâs funny how often weâre searching for the big things, when the little things quietly fill our cup.
This weekâs gentle reminder...
Sometimes getting your mojo back starts with a walk around the block.

Thereâs been a lot of âactivityâ in the skies so Iâve made ny version of the Medical Medium Chem Trails Exposure Brain Shot.
No asparagus this time. Itâs not in season here over winter, so I swapped it out rather than buying produce thatâs been shipped from halfway around the world.
Todayâs blend includes:
đ« Wild berries
đ Lemon
đż Coriander
đ± Chives
đ„Ź Brussels sprouts
đ„Ź Celery
This shot protects me from exposures to environmental toxins and support my bodyâs natural detoxification processes.
Itâs not about perfection. Itâs about making simple, sustainable choices that add up over time.
Save this one if youâd like to give it a try. đ
