Dear Fam,

One final post... 💔

I’d like to take a moment to clarify the circumstances surrounding the closure of my business. While I would prefer to keep my personal matters private, there seems to have been some misunderstanding, and I want to address it openly.

Unfortunately, my health has declined significantly over recent months, to the point where I have had to step away from both my full-time job that I loved dearly and my business that I built. I have been in and out of hospital, undergoing numerous tests and procedures, while also managing the mental and emotional toll that comes with knowing I could no longer continue doing what I truly love.

I understand that not everyone will fully grasp the severity of the challenges I have been facing, but please know that the decision to close my business was not made lightly. I am truly grateful to the many wonderful clients who have supported me along the way — your kindness has meant the world to me, and I have made some lifelong friends.

Unfortunately, I am aware that some have been unhappy with the way my closure was handled. While I respect that people may have different perspectives, I cannot accept the expectation to disclose deeply personal health matters in order to justify my decision.

I hope this helps you understand that sometimes, people are facing challenges that are unimaginable and life-changing. A little compassion can go a very long way.

Hello beautiful fam.

I have decided, after ALOT of deliberation, I'll be closing Loc'd on Dreads permanently. This decision has not come lightly, but it's the best thing for me.

I want to thank all of my amazing clients over the time iv been operating. You all made such a huge impact on my life.

I will be selling all my extensions, including un-dreaded extensions, all tools, accessories, chair, work space table, salon station with mirror and all of the bits and pieces. There is a good $900 plus worth of goods, I will be selling for $600 for the lot. I will not be separating either sorry. so if you or anyone you know is interested, please contact me. It will be posted on marketplace later on this afternoon if I have no takers here.

Exciting news, starting next month, I'll be back up and running. I will have appointments available 5th and 6th July. Please message me to book in and let's get back to making you feel amazing!

I will only be accepting bookings fortnightly as I get back into the swing of things, please be understanding that due to this, it is first in best dressed. And remember, first timers do have a non refundable booking fee to secure your appointment.

Those that have already got bookings will be messaged and informed, and those who have paid their first time booking deposit, will have it returned to them.
