I think one of the most misunderstood symptoms of burnout is this:
People mistake it for laziness.
But burnout doesn’t always look like someone falling apart.
Sometimes it looks like procrastination.
Sometimes it looks like cancelling plans.
Sometimes it looks like scrolling for hours, feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and unable to start.
The truth is, when your nervous system has been running on stress for too long, even the simplest tasks can feel heavy.
So before you judge yourself for not doing enough…
Ask yourself if you’re actually lazy.
Or if you’re simply exhausted. 💛
✨ Save this for the days when you’re being harder on yourself than you need to be.
Friend to friend…
Not everything is asking for more hustle.
Sometimes your next breakthrough is hiding behind a nervous system that simply needs rest. ✨
🤣🤣🤣 My inbox after being away for 6 weeks...
“Abbi, my skin is soooo dry.”
“Abbi, Ive had a migraine since you left me.”
“Abbi, I need your hands.”
“Abbi, I need you to centre me.”
Meanwhile, my clients this week... 🧟♀️🧟♀️🧟♀️
Apparently you’ve all turned into unregulated, shrivelled-up little prunes without your monthly reset. 😂
Honestly though, somewhere along the way many of you stopped feeling like clients and started feeling like family. 🤍
The before and afters from this week have been hilarious.
Thank you for missing me as much as I’ve missed you all.
Now let’s get those nervous systems regulated, those shoulders out of your ears and some hydration back into those faces. 😂✨
Love you all
The harsh truth most women need to hear...
Being needed by everyone isn’t the same as being okay.
Some of the most exhausted women I know don’t look stressed.
They look capable.
They’re the ones remembering everyone’s appointments, packing lunches, running businesses, answering messages, supporting friends, and holding everything together.
They smile and say, “I’m fine.”
Meanwhile their body is whispering:
⚡ I’m tired.⚡ I need a break.⚡ I need support.⚡ I need someone to take care of me for a change.
And when those whispers go unheard, the body starts speaking louder.
Through poor sleep.
Through tension.
Through anxiety.
Through overwhelm.
Through skin flare-ups.
Your nervous system was never designed to carry everyone else’s world while abandoning your own.
Maybe the strongest thing you can do today isn’t push harder.
Maybe it’s listening.
🤍 If this feels like you, know you’re not alone.
Let me help you center yourself again

✨ Stressed women all have this in common…
They say “I’m fine” while their nervous system is running on empty.
What many people don’t realise is that chronic stress doesn’t just affect your mood—it affects your skin too.
When we’re stuck in fight-or-flight, cortisol levels rise, inflammation increases, skin barrier function can weaken, healing slows, and issues like sensitivity, breakouts, redness and dullness can become more noticeable.
This is why I believe skin treatments should be about more than just products and procedures.
Every facial is designed to help your body shift from survival mode into rest-and-repair mode through calming touch, facial massage, reflexology, breath, and a space where you don’t have to hold everything together for an hour.
Because healthy skin isn’t just about what you put on it.
It’s also about how safe your body feels.
🤍 If life has felt a little heavy lately, consider this your reminder to pause, breathe, and take care of yourself too.
While the world tells you to rush…
this is your reminder to slow down.
To rest.
To receive.
To let caring hands, calming touch, LED light therapy, reflexology and intentional skincare bring you back to yourself.
Because sometimes the most powerful transformation happens in stillness.
A thousand years of wisdom lives inside a body that finally feels safe enough to relax.
My own c-section journey
A scar can create tightness, pulling, numbness, sensitivity, restricted movement and even hold tension within the body long after it’s “healed.”
Over time, scar tissue can impact circulation, fascia, lymphatic flow and the way the surrounding tissue moves and feels.
This is why I love incorporating skin needling and gentle scar work… to help soften the tissue, stimulate collagen, encourage healing and help the area feel more connected again.
Because healing isn’t just about how a scar looks… it’s about how it feels too 🤍Don’t forget to mention your c section scar on your next appointment and we can work on it
This isn’t your average dermaplaning treatment.
Yes, we remove peach fuzz, dead skin and leave your skin feeling unbelievably smooth… but we also calm the nervous system while we’re there. 🌙
With LED therapy, reflexology and intentional touch woven through the treatment, this is your reminder that skincare can feel healing too.
Because glowing skin hits differently when your body finally relaxes. ✨
Most people think they need a “massage”…
But what they actually need…
is their nervous system to feel safe again.
Your skin, your tension, your overwhelm…
it’s not random.
It’s your body holding.
And when you combine
lymphatic flow + fascia release + intentional touch + energy work…
✨ everything shifts ✨
This is why my clients don’t just leave “relaxed”…
they leave feeling lighter, clearer, and completely reset.
