Lindy uses a holistic and comprehensive approach to body work to help encourage your body to achieve balance. I have had my own business, practising body work for over 20 years. I am fully qualified in massage and Bowen Therapy, and have current insurance and association membership. I am a registered provider of most private health funds. I always work within the pain limits of my clients and use firm, deep massage techniques, combined with trigger point therapy to release both superficial and deep postural muscles. My approach to bodywork is to treat the body as a whole. For example, if you have lower back pain, quite often leg muscles will be involved, I'd also look at the mid/upper back region, and abdominals. These areas could be a contributing factor to the pain/tightness, and those areas will most likely be affected as your body naturally compensates. Bowen Therapy is also an invaluable tool to have. Bowen works by stimulating your body's own healing response, and helps to re-align posture by re-setting muscle memory. Bowen not only works on the muscular level, but can also address issues like hayfever, digestive problems, migranes and hormonal imbalances. I work from home, mostly during school hours.
