Dear valued clients, as most of you know I am currently on an extended break. I am working full time as a medical receptionist, saving for our first home, and will soon be commencing nursing studies. I firmly believe that having a medical background will further benefit my tattooing career.

I will definitely be back in action at some point, hopefully within the next 1-2 years but I don't want to put a time limit on myself at this stage.

I surely hope to welcome you all in my chair again. Message me if you can't wait for a touch up and need a recommendation. I will still be contactable so please reach out and I will do my best to respond in a timely manner.

- I AM TAKING A BREAK -
Dear valued clients, with a heavy heart I will be closing Lacuna around the end of 2024. During this next season I will be prioritising my family and building for the future.
I WILL BE BACK! This is not goodbye, rather see you soon. Next time you see me I will be taking appointments in a beautiful home studio (think cottage-style, relaxing, classy, stylish, warm, welcoming vibes).
At this stage I am still taking appointments for 2024 (including new clients). There is very limited availability left before the end of the year. If you are due for a colour refresh, please book this in as soon as possible!
I will be selling my salon. Depending on the timeline of this successfully occurring I may continue to operate for a short period of time into 2025.
I am beyond grateful for the past 6 years of business. I have loved every minute of spending time with you, hearing your stories, laughing together, venting together, and sometimes even crying together. Thank you for the honour of trusting me with your beautiful faces. My passion has always been, and always will be, to help you feel like the most confident version of yourself.
WHAT I HAVE BEEN THE MOST PROUD OF ON THIS INCREDIBLE JOURNEY:
2018 - I trained in Sydney with Australian renowned artist and educator Talina Grasso, founder of My Rejuvenate. She laid the foundation for my passion for lip and brow tattooing. Not only was she an incredible educator, but she lit a quietly confident fire within me and I knew that I would become someone with her in my corner. We also became great friends, In fact I recently had the honour of singing for her wedding!
2019 - I offered free eyebrow treatments to anyone who had been through chemotherapy or suffered with Alopecia. It filled me with joy to feel like I could help someone regain their confidence.
2019 - I travelled to Melbourne to train with world renowned artist BROW DADDY from LA. His confidence and passion was infectious.
2019 - I started travelling to Melbourne frequently and working from the Victorian Cosmetic Institute. Dr Gavin Chan is the most incredible business owner I have ever met. He taught me that you can be kind, generous, softly spoken & humble - without diminishing your power or authority in any way.
2019 - I met one of my clients Cachelle who became a best friend for life. She has also been one of my biggest supporters in business. We crossed paths because I drew her name out of one of my competitions.
2020 - I managed to sustain my business throughout covid. During the lockdown I spent lots of time offering free video consultations, as well as educating myself further. Once I was able to re-open, I had a long waitlist of clients which allowed me to quickly hit the ground running again.
2020 - I took a training course by world renowned lip tattoo artist Tesstattoo. I was amazed by how natural her work is and she inspired me so much to follow the same path. I also started learning about lip neutralisations for melanin rich lips.
2020 - I got to work with the incredible Jacinta from Cin Creative. She made the most beautiful marketing content for me which skyrocketed my confidence.
2020 - I got to work with the very talented Arlene from Wisely Works who designed my very own (very professional) website. I beam with pride every time I share a link to my beautiful website.
2021 - I entered the Australian Beauty & Cosmetic Tattoo awards. I was a finalist (top 3 in the country) for lip and brow tattooing. When the awards were announced I placed in 2nd place for best lip tattoo artist in the country!
2021 - I found a beautiful friend in Amanda Fritz Aesthetics, her journey has been inspiring and I have loved supporting one another and cheering for each other in the background!
2021 - I started developing a business relationship with Chris and Karen from Advanced Laser Therapy Clinics. They have been nothing but supportive of my journey and are exceptionally skilled laser professionals. I will recommend them to anybody who requires that service.
2022 - I had the opportunity to work alongside the beautiful Summer and her team at Evolution Beauty Cairns. I was in awe of her easy-going yet very confident personality and willingness to pursue whatever she set her mind to!
2022 - I entered the Australian Beauty & Cosmetic Tattoo awards again. I was a finalist (top 7 in the country) for lip tattooing neutralisation, and a finalist (top 15 in the country) for lip blush tattooing. I was also a finalist (top 10 in the country) for overall best cosmetic tattoo artist. When the awards were announced I placed 3rd place in the country for best lip blush tattoo artist!
2022 - I opened my very own salon in Cairns City! I worked very hard over the weekends with my amazing partner Geordie Coventry to renovate my salon space and make it beautiful, all whilst taking clients at my previously existing location and also working part time landscaping for my dad’s business to help with the bills. I’m proud of myself for my resilience throughout that whole process.
2023 - I was awarded with a $5,000 government grant to pursue 3D ni**le tattooing for those who have lost their areola/ni**les due to breast cancer. I travelled to Adelaide to train with Australian renowned artist Aleisha from Pink Lotus Australia. Her incredible talent and skills blew me away and lit a deep passion within me to help women in need of this service. She is also incredibly generous through the charity she founded, which has been so inspiring to be exposed to. I hope I can be like her someday.
2023 - I was invited by my friend Angelina Kettle to come and train beauty students as a guest educator for eyebrow shaping skills at Demi International Beauty Academy. I had a great response from the students and was proud of myself for having the confidence to teach!
2023 - I got to watch my amazing client and friend Kelly from KD Cosmetic Tattoos start her own business in the cosmetic tattoo industry, I am so proud!
2024 - I took a course by the genius mind that is Carla Ricciardone from Sculpted Studios in New York. Her scientific approach to colour theory and pigmentology quite literally exploded my brain. I have been learning how to create very natural results that fade out beautifully over time without needing removal. I’m talking about understanding every single ingredient in every pigment bottle and predicting exactly what this means for long term results (down to the core elements such as Titanium and Carbon). I am extremely passionate and excited about this space and will be continuing to soak up as much knowledge as possible during my break.
2024 - I teamed up with the insanely talented Rhiannon from Sunshine Studio by Rhiannon Eve and made a friend for life! I have been so inspired by her positive and infectious energy.
2024 - I entered the Australian Beauty & Cosmetic Tattoo awards and was again a finalist (top 6 in the country) for best lip tattoo artist!
Above all, my greatest achievement has been the relationships I have developed with my 700+ clients. I want you all to know how much I appreciate and value you. I wouldn’t have a business without your trust and vote of confidence. Thank you for an incredible journey so far. I will still be contactable during my break and I will have a VIP waitlist for those interested. I have over 50,000 unposted images in my camera roll which I will finally have time to go through and share with you, so keep an eye out for those!
I want to express deep gratitude for my family and close friends, you know exactly who you are. You have been my strength and my solid foundation. During the lows you’ve lent an ear or shoulder, during the highs we’ve celebrated together. I would be nowhere without you, I can’t thank you enough.

Results last 4-6 weeks on the hair & up to 2 weeks on the skin.

This is an excellent way to test if you would like your brows tattooed! It is also an excellent way to spruce up your tattoo. I’m all about conservative tattoo results, meaning there’s only so much the healed result can give you. If you want a bolder brow, try out the hybrid dye! 🤩
