Acai mousse bowl!! Tastes just like an acai bowl but with the added health benefits and nourishment from Gelatin, not the regular Gelatin from the cooking isle in the supermarket....

When your whizzing up your acai bowl in the blender add Gelatin that has been dissolved in hot water as the blender is spinning ..... Result=awesome acai mousse!!!
I use a few ice cubes, a frozen 🍌, 1/4 cup frozen blueberries, acai powder, a dash vanilla, around 1/4 cup water, a scoop vanilla protein and around 2 tb chia seeds ..... Whiz and once everything is spinning a bit and nice and ice cream like start adding your dissolved Gelatin!! Flavour explosion!!

Rise and shine!! 🌞nothing like an awesome hiit session to kick off the day .... I chose to have a couple of sleep ins this week and do my cardio post strength workout but nothing beats it first up in the morning 👊🏼 get up and smash those goals in fitness and in life ✌🏼️Happy Friday!!

Something to think about .... When you are in a calorie deprived state burning muscle is an easier energy resource for your body to use. It only takes 800 calories to burn a pound of muscle compared to 3000 calories to burn a pound of fat. So feed your body the fuel it needs .....

Snack bowl .... Sweet potato fries with fresh salsa .... I have found the best method to getting delicious sweet potato chips is setting oven to 150 degrees fan forced, toss sweet potato through coconut oil sprinkle with sea salt and paprika and pop in for 90 minutes makes the most tender delicious chunky chips 😜

Hint: don't go to your max weight challenge yourself but choose a moderate weight

How about an alternative to overnight oats .....
Raw Buckwheat Porridge
Makes 3 serves
Macros: P|8 F|3 C|46
1 cup buckwheat groats
1 tb chia seeds
1 tb raw honey (or sweetener of choice)
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup coconut milk (or milk of preference of coconut water)
Optional: 1/4 cup vanilla protein powder..... I would do prana coconut milk myself 😜
Soak buckwheat groats in enough water to cover and let sit for 2 hours or overnight. Throughly rinse in fresh water using a strainer.
Add buckwheat groats, leaving about 1/4 cup aside, to blender along with remaining ingredients and blend till smooth. Once smooth stir through remaining groats. If you opted for the protein powder added you may need a little more liquid in your blending stage.
Top with fresh fruit of choice or granola.
Although buckwheat has wheat in the name it is actually a gluten free seed. It is alkaline, has a complete protein profile and is easily absorbed by the body. A perfect addition to anyone's diet 👌🏻
