We’ve looked after Bec’s skin for over a decade now, and somehow she just gets better and better every year.

She looked absolutely sensational. The hair, the makeup, the dress - the whole thing. And she did such an incredible job hosting, too. We loved watching you, Bec!

Martin began his career in hospital-based nursing before moving into cosmetic medicine in 2000, drawn to the combination of clinical knowledge, artistry and the opportunity to build long-term relationships with his patients.

He has always believed that great injecting isn’t about erasing every line or changing the way someone looks. It’s about understanding anatomy, balance and proportion and knowing when less really is more.

In tonight’s video, we sit down with Martin to learn more about the man behind the needle and laser hand piece, from how he found his way into cosmetic nursing to what he still loves about his work all these years later.

We feel incredibly lucky to have had him as part of Clinica Lase for more than a decade.

First the hens, then the wedding. 💍

Samara is officially in wedding-prep mode ahead of her January wedding. After seeing an incredible improvement from just one RedTouch treatment, we’re now combining it with CoolPeel as the next step in her treatment plan.

RedTouch targets collagen stimulation within the skin, while CoolPeel uses fractional CO₂ technology to improve texture, tone and overall skin quality. By layering the two, we can address different components of the skin while carefully allowing time for collagen remodelling between now and the wedding.

We’ll be following Samara’s skin journey as she prepares for the hens next month and the big day in January.

A little throwback to the time Samara finally convinced Crystal to remove the freckles she’d had her entire life.

After spending years covering them with makeup, she decided it was time to see what her skin looked like without them and a few years later, she still has zero regrets.

To target the freckles, we used Pico laser technology. The treatment delivers ultra-short pulses of energy into the skin, breaking unwanted pigment into tiny particles that the body can gradually clear. The pigment will often darken initially before it begins to shed and fade over the following weeks.

There are different forms of Pico treatment, and not all pigmentation or skin is treated in the same way. The wavelength, settings and treatment approach need to be carefully selected based on the type and depth of pigment, your skin type and how your skin responds.

Freckles can return over time, particularly with sun exposure, but with the right home care a good pigment inhibitor and SPF at an absolute minimum along with ongoing maintenance, they can be effectively managed.
