A quick trip to Sydney for a very special evening with L’Oréal and Skinbetter Science, celebrating the relaunch of one of the industry’s most iconic products: AlphaRet.
In an industry where new products are constantly entering the market, it’s rare to see one maintain such a loyal following year after year. But after spending the evening catching up with so many familiar faces, one thing was clear - AlphaRet has more than earned its cult status.
So what makes it so unique?
Rather than simply combining a retinoid and an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), AlphaRet uses patented technology to create a single molecule. This unique formulation delivers the skin-renewing benefits of vitamin A while helping to minimise the irritation often associated with traditional retinoids.
It’s proof that in a saturated market, products don’t stand the test of time because they’re the newest. They do because they consistently deliver results.

For the past few months, you’ve watched our Carlton clinic evolve.
What started as a renovation became something much bigger. A reimagining of the way we care for our patients and the spaces we welcome them into.
We wanted every space to reflect what happens within these walls. Thoughtful conversations. Honest advice. Individualised treatment plans. Long-term relationships. Because that’s what Clinica Lase has always been about.
This is just a small glimpse of one of our newest additions - a dedicated consultation and retail space designed for unrushed conversations, personalised treatment planning and helping you better understand your skin.

Over the years, we’ve built a culture centred around honesty, education, teamwork and consistently delivering great outcomes for our patients. We believe in evidence-based practice, lifelong learning and doing things properly, even when it takes longer.
We value curiosity over ego, relationships over transactions and clinical excellence over trends. We care deeply about our people, our patients and the trust that has allowed many of those relationships to span well over a decade.
As Clinica Lase continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Dermal Clinician who values those things too.

When it comes to the eye area, many people find themselves sitting somewhere in the middle. Cosmetic treatments may no longer be giving them the improvement they’re looking for, but they’re not quite ready to explore surgery either.
