Birdie HQ Skin Experiment - PART ONE
Debriefing on my first experience with this part of the experiment.
Going to buy the actual skincare from Woolworths / the Chemist / Aldi
Not going to lie, I got overstimulated and definitely stood for too long trying to figure out what the hell am I even going to get.
Trying to put aside my skin knowledge, put aside my cosmetic chemistry knowledge and put on my ‘normal consumer’ hat.

Why consults matter..part 3.
One of the biggest concerns with cosmetic brow tattooing is ending up with brows that feel too dark or too harsh, which is exactly why consultations are such an important part of the process.
At your appointment, we talk through pigment selection, undertones, shape and how healed results will look over time. Your first treatment is intentionally kept lighter and softer, giving your skin time to heal before your perfecting session 6–8 weeks later.
That touch up appointment is where we can make any adjustments, add more depth or go slightly darker if that’s the look you want.
Cosmetic tattooing should feel customised, collaborative and natural, never one size fits all.
My other hobbies include OCD setting up for skin treatments so I could do it with my eyes closed and know exactly where everything is.
