Ego Pharmaceuticals is the 2026 Victorian Exporter of the Year. 🏆
Last night at the Governor of Victoria Export Awards, Ego took home the top honour of the evening alongside the International Health category win, and now advances as a national finalist at the Australian Export Awards in November.
With 700 staff across 13 nations and international sales representing approximately 50 per cent of total business, this belongs to the whole team.
Congratulations to everyone who made it possible.

Meet Zahran Habeeb, a 12+ year member of the Ego family currently on secondment as a Business Process Expert on PULSE, our SAP S/4HANA project.
Zahran started as a Packing Operator and progressed into Line Leader and 2IC roles, building a deep understanding of our people, machines and processes along the way.
That hands on experience in the Packing Hall is exactly what prepared him for this new challenge, giving him the operational insight now shaping how PULSE comes to life across the business.
For Zahran, the best part of Ego has always been the people, the friendships and trust built over more than a decade are what he values most.
Outside of work, he's a keen tennis player and a proud Chelsea supporter.

This week, the Ego team was in Adelaide for the Wounds Australia National Conference.
Four days connecting with clinicians, researchers, and wound care specialists, and showcasing the benefits of the Ego range for better patient outcomes.
Conversations like these are what keep our science grounded in real clinical need.
Thank you to the Wounds Australia team and those who attended.
In a recent interview with Manufacturers Monthly, Ego's Managing Director Alan Oppenheim reflected on that journey and the milestones defining Ego's next chapter, including a $156 million decade long investment in our Australian operations.
Alan was also recently named Leader of the Year at the 2026 Endeavour Awards, recognition for decades of leadership grounded in the same family values Ego was built on.

For 50 years, QV has stood alongside healthcare practitioners, a legacy born from a single request out of the dermatology ward at Melbourne's Queen Victoria Hospital.
The QV Healthcare Practitioner Student Scholarship supports the next generation of Pharmacy, Medicine and Nursing students, part of QV's ongoing commitment to the practitioners who care for patients' skin health. Three $10,000 prizes are on offer, judged by a panel of leading industry experts.
