After 10+ years in hair + lashes, I feel lucky to have experienced two very different sides of the beauty industry. 🤍

Hair taught me the importance of foundations - that confidence comes from time, practice, being challenged and constantly learning.

Lashes gave me the confidence to back myself, put myself out there and create something of my own.

But I think one of the biggest things I’ve learnt is that everyone’s journey looks different.

Especially in the lash industry, social media can be so loud. There can be so much pressure around what you should have, what you should be doing next and what “progression” is supposed to look like.

A salon, a team, teaching, creating courses - these can all be amazing things, but they aren’t for everyone and the only ways to grow.

Sometimes growth looks like refining your skills, building an enjoyable life around your work, learning more, building confidence, creating beautiful work and finding what genuinely lights you up.
