At last!
Our favourite Amber Perfume Blocks have arrived from Morocco and are now back in stock.
So that’s the good news……but unfortunately we’ve not been so lucky finding any Sandalwood blocks…..yet.
Because they’re made by a select group of small family businesses, this is just the way it is sometimes.
Never fear though…..our amazing supplier Mohammed is pulling out all stops for us and will send some through as soon as he can find them

Made with a skin loving trio of Argan, Jojoba and Sweet Almond oils and enriched with Organic Shea & Mango butters, it’s rich but light and soaks right in.

Apply after a shower to damp skin……and rub what’s left on your hands into your hair ☀️

What is an Attar…and why do we love them so much?

An Attar is an alcohol free, highly concentrated natural Perfume Oil.

They’ve been around for 100s of years, originating in Persia, Egypt and other areas of West Asia, and landing in India back in the 16th century when the Mughals ruled.

Attar production uses a centuries old method of distillation and traditional equipment, known as the Deg-Bhapka method.

‘Deg’ (copper vessel) and ‘Bhapka’ (the receiver vessel).

After the first distillation in the Deg, the plant vapours pass through a bamboo pipe into the Bhapka and are absorbed into a woody base like Sandalwood oil.
They can be aged for up to 10 years.

This gives attar oils their depth and longevity.

They really do last all day.

Our attars come with a glass wand for application allowing you to dab only the small amount required.

Hojari Frankincense, from the mountainous Dhofar region of Oman, comes in a range of colours, each with their own scent language.
White, orange, brown, black and our favourite green.
The colours vary due to season, location, age and storage methods.

Some prefer the darker, stickier resin with a more intense, resinous, honey like scent.

We choose Royal Green Hojari (Boswellia Sacra) for its gorgeous, warm perfume with hints of citrus and eucalyptus.

You might notice it’s colour is sometimes closer to white or yellow than green. This is due to exposure to light which reduces the chlorophyll in the resin.
We keep ours wrapped up and refrigerated to help maintain the colour.

They’re all amazing to burn, whether on charcoal or in a burner in oil.
They’re all amazing medicines too and are traditionally used on the body, or ingested as a tea.
