Hojari Frankincense, from the mountainous Dhofar region of Oman, comes in a range of colours, each with their own scent language.
White, orange, brown, black and our favourite green.
The colours vary due to season, location, age and storage methods.

Some prefer the darker, stickier resin with a more intense, resinous, honey like scent.

We choose Royal Green Hojari (Boswellia Sacra) for its gorgeous, warm perfume with hints of citrus and eucalyptus.

You might notice it’s colour is sometimes closer to white or yellow than green. This is due to exposure to light which reduces the chlorophyll in the resin.
We keep ours wrapped up and refrigerated to help maintain the colour.

They’re all amazing to burn, whether on charcoal or in a burner in oil.
They’re all amazing medicines too and are traditionally used on the body, or ingested as a tea.

How do you like your Hojari?

Essential Oils are amazing in so many ways.
When it comes to frankincense though, the power’s in the resin, complete and pure.

Maydi Body Oil encompasses all of the goodness and power this sacred resin can offer.
Extracted into skin loving jojoba, with Apricot Kernel Oil & a touch of Amber (of course).
A pure blessing for your skin.

Boswellic Acid is where the magic of frankincense comes to its fruition.
It’s where all of the anti-inflammatory and anti-ageing properties live.

Many studies have indicated that it’s this Boswellic Acid rather than the oil that is responsible for the renowned healing & anti-inflammatory properties of Frankincense. It's long been utilised to treat arthritis & rheumatism along with some forms of cancer, ulceration, crohn's disease, UTIs, depression, and much more.

Equally impressive is that many of these healing compounds can be absorbed through the skin and are able to cross the blood-brain barrier.

This beautiful, fragrant oil extract can be applied directly to your skin, unlike essential oil, allowing you to enjoy the full benefits of Boswellic acid.

Apply to aching joints or to your face or dilute it further and use as a massage oil.
