Why we share the highs and LOWS!

As some of you would have seen on our stories, Kimmi is struggling with viral menegitis. She has been struggling for 3 weeks and visited the hospital twice with no success on managing her pain and low energy.

But why did we choose to share this and other lows?

Because we believe life naturally has ups and downs and we shouldn't shy away from them, especially as a mental health focused business.

Why struggle alone when we can share as a community?

By us sharing our lows too, it builds trust and a relationship with our communities!

So you'll hear from us, no matter how high, low or boring our lives get behind the scenes. Cause they're all important moments.

The Mindful Me Journal comes with stickers?!

Absolutely it does!

What else is cool about it, is it's a 6nmonth guided journal all around gratitude!

It says for kids but we know a LOT of adults and teens love it too.

If I could go back to 2020 Kimmi and tell her what I know now, I probably wouldn't go ahead with FYMB! Shocker, I know!

I absolutely LOVE what we do, what we stand for and our community but it's a LOT of work.

It's given me so much so I have absolutely zero regrets doing it but if I knew what I know now, I probably wouldn't have opened. I would have sold my idea instead.

Why?

Because running a business is HARD! Especially a mental health and wellbeing based one. And having a mental illness on top of it.

At the end of the day we are a e-commerce company, retail store with a passion for Mental health and wellbeing. We are not counsellors, wellbeing workers, crisis managers or anything else on that level.

Something I'd love to be but I'm not trained or insured to do.

What we are is a lived experience guided, mental health tool and resources store and workshop hosts!

I think that's so fun! And I love what we have created and are working towards with this move coming soon.

Afternoon workshops are selling out FAST! So get in quick.

Plenty of room for evening but they WILL fill up!

Workshops in Geelong got adults! Doing a range of Art and Crafts to help with mental health and wellbeing!

So what's next for For Your Mind Boxes?

We move in LESS THAN 2 WEEKS! AHHHH!

We move the first weekend of August!

The website will remain open but orders may be delayed for a short period.

Workshops start the 2nd week of August.

We will have a pop up shop on the last Saturday of the every month which will be August 29th. You can come and shop our range then!

We won't be offering delivery for orders anymore but will have Pick up from shop available!

We will also offer a private shopping experience with me that you can book online too!

I think that's all! Oh and a launch sometime in August, date to be announced but think squishy fidgets and more tools for toddlers and kids!
