“A little re-introduction for 2026…” 🤍

I’ve been a bit quieter on here lately - not because I’ve stopped… but because I’ve been deep in the work.

Holding space.
Supporting nervous systems.
Helping busy minds slow down.
Guiding people back to balance from the inside out.

For those who are new here (hey there!) .... what I do sits in the space between science, wellness and lived human experience.

Think:
• Training the mind to reset and regulate
• Supporting energy, mood and resilience
• Filling nutritional gaps modern life leaves behind
• Helping people feel like themselves again

I’ve been a little quieter publicly - but active behind the scenes.

Because this work isn’t about hype…
It’s about real people feeling better in their everyday lives.

And here’s the reminder that’s been loud for me lately too :

💁You can’t keep pouring into everyone else while running on empty.

💁If your body’s been whispering (or yelling) for support… don’t ignore it.

✨Your health matters.
✨Your nervous system matters.
✨Your capacity matters.

If you’ve been curious about what I actually do behind the scenes… consider this your little nudge to reach out or just keep watching 👀

2026 is about deeper support - not louder noise.

Once a water baby, always a water baby. 🌊

That's seven-year-old me, sitting on the farm porch eating mulberries out of a paper bag.

Nearly 14 years ago, I moved to the coast, and the novelty still hasn't worn off.

Swimming, fishing, bodyboarding, attempting to surf … if it involves water, I'm in.

The older I get, the more I realise how important it is to make time for the things I've always loved.

Life gets bloody busy, but I'm never willingly giving up those little moments that help me reset my nervous system and feel like ME.

Sometimes all I need is to get in the water.🌅

HE DOESN’T NEED TO “TALK ABOUT HIS FEELINGS.”
MAYBE HE JUST NEEDS 33 MINUTES WHERE NOTHING NEEDS HIM.

Some blokes will talk it out.

Some would rather mow the lawn with scissors. ✂🌱

And that's okay.

NeurOptimal® doesn't need you to explain what's going on, find the right words or even know why you've been feeling a bit off.

You sit down.
Headphones on.
Music playing.

And let your brain do the work.

No talking. No digging. No having to perform.

Just some time out from everything that's constantly asking something of you.

Maybe you're the bloke who needs this.
Maybe you know one. 😂

Message me BLOKE and I'll send you the simple version - what it is, what happens and what it costs.

Men, women, teens & kids welcome.

The other side of the curtain.

Usually someone is sitting in my Neuro chair on the other side of this space, taking 33 minutes for themselves.

Today, this side looks like coffee, breakfast, a notebook, a laptop… and me working some s**t out. 😂

The last few days have been a mix of feeling defeated, lost, angry, fired up… and having to sit with some things I really didn’t want to sit with.

And somewhere in all of that, I realised I’d stopped backing myself the way I back everyone else.

Turns out backing yourself requires actually backing yourself.
Rude. 🧐😂

I have some bloody amazing people who believe in me - but that only gets you so far when the belief you’ve lost is your own.

And maybe that’s the thing about backing yourself.

It’s not something you nail once and keep forever.

Sometimes you’re all in.
Sometimes you wobble.
Sometimes you lose sight of yourself completely and have to find your way back.

Not some big “new me” moment.

Just getting really clear, making some decisions, and moving from noticing what isn’t working… to actually doing something about it.

Turns out backing yourself isn’t a one-and-done deal either.
Apparently we have to keep bloody doing it. WTAF😂

I walked into my very first NeurOptimal® session with enough money for a 10-pack. 😂

I'd never had a session before.

But I'd already decided I wasn't going to just try it once.

I wanted to give this tool a proper chance to see what it could support me with - but more importantly, I'd made a commitment to me.

And that's a big part of why I offer packages today.

Yes, a single 33-minute session can be a beautiful way to pause and support your mind.

But when you're looking for support with overwhelm, switching off, clarity, resilience or simply feeling more present, I believe in consistency.

You're not just buying time in a chair.

You're choosing to regularly support your mental wellbeing.

🧠 3 sessions – The Reconnect
Designed to be used close together over 7–10 days.

🎧 5-session package
For creating more consistency in supporting your mind.

🧠 10-session package
The commitment I chose myself - for those ready to make their mental wellbeing an ongoing priority.

And this isn't just for women.

Men, women, teenagers, children - NeurOptimal® meets you where you are. There's nothing you need to talk through, achieve or get "right."

33 minutes.
No effort.
No expectations.
A Massage for the Mind.

Because sometimes the best time to support ourselves is before we're completely overwhelmed. 😉

Not sure which option might suit you or your child? Message me and we can have a chat.

This is one of the places I go to find my calm. 🌅

The ocean.
The open space.
Bare feet in the sand. (Even with a TED stockings 🤣)
A sunset that makes everything feel a little quieter.

We all have things that help us come back to ourselves.

And I think that's something really important to remember when we talk about NeurOptimal® too…

It doesn't have to be the thing.

It can simply be another tool in your toolkit. 🧠✨

Alongside…

🌿 Time in nature
🫁 Breathwork
💬 Counselling
🏃‍♀️ Movement & exercise
🤸‍♀️ Physio & bodywork
💊 Prescribed treatments & professional support
🥗 Nourishing your body
😴 Rest & recovery

We don't have to choose one thing and hope it fixes everything.

Sometimes it's the combination of the things we do for ourselves that creates the biggest shift.

For me, NeurOptimal® is one piece of that bigger picture.

A gentle way of giving the brain information about itself and allowing it to make its own adjustments - while you continue doing all the other things that support you.

Because we're not machines.

We're whole humans.
And sometimes we just need a few different ways to come home to ourselves. 💚

Apparently, my body didn't read my recovery timeline... 😅

I had surgery.

I thought I'd be back in no time.

My body politely disagreed.

A little hiccup slowed things down, which was frustrating because I'm much better at looking after everyone else than I am sitting still looking after myself.

But... here we are.

The wound is healing.
I'm feeling more like me.
And I'm finally back doing what I love.

One unexpected positive this week was an enquiry through a local community noticeboard. It reminded me that there are still lots of people who don't know I'm tucked away in Mount Tarcoola, quietly supporting people through NeurOptimal® Neurofeedback.

So, if you're new here... hello! 👋

I'm Gemma, and I support people of all ages through NeurOptimal® Neurofeedback, or, as I like to call it...

"A Massage for the Mind."

Thirty-three minutes.

No effort.
No expectations.
Just giving your mind the same care we so often remember to give the rest of our body.

I'm now back taking bookings and looking forward to welcoming both familiar faces and some new ones too.

I’m not going to pretend I’ve got it all together right now…

but I’m also not falling apart either 😅

Life’s just… full.

This morning at the question was:

What do you do when things start to feel like a bit much?

And I realised…

I actually do a lot of the “right” things.

I’ve got tools.
I use them.
I know what helps me reset.

But right now?

They’re not hitting the same.

Which is a bit rude, honestly 😂

Because I’m about to do something that feels very not me…

I’m taking a proper break.
Like… actually stepping away.

This trip’s been booked for a while,
but now it’s here, I’m like…

oh… we’re actually doing this 😅

Letting go of control
Trusting other people with my world
Stepping away from routines I lean on

It’s uncomfortable.

But also…

I think that’s the point.

Because maybe it’s not that my tools aren’t working…

maybe I’ve just outgrown the way I’ve been doing things.

And this is the next step.

Even if it feels a bit like
“cool cool cool… what now” 😂

Let’s just call it growth… because apparently we’re doing this 😅
