We’re introducing a new design of palettes, with the very first palette in this new compact design launching this weekend (no preorder). This new direction feels so much more true to who I am now.

These new palettes are sleek, compact and travel friendly, while still feeling sturdy and lux. They’re also a more affordable way to experience our same formulas.

And don’t worry, our bigger more playful palettes aren’t going anywhere. We’ll still be creating the fun, fully themed colour stories and special concepts. This is just a new side of the brand that I’m really excited to explore. I cannot wait to show you the first one!

School holidays means I’ve got little helpers 😂💗 My 10 year old son wanted to come and help me make eyeshadows, so the most recent batch of Fairytopia was actually pressed by him, with me supervising of course. He was so proud of himself and did such a good job 🥹

This is a fully magnetic palette with 20 shades, with 9 mattes and 11 shimmers: a ratio I genuinely like. Color story is autumn through and through, golds, coppers, deep reds, mossy greens, purples and berry tones. I especially like the purples with the oranges, it creates a beautiful contrast.

As for formulas, the mattes feel a bit more pigmented than the Epic Beauty’s previous palette, which is a nice step up in my opinion. Shimmers are impactful when swatched, though I have not tried them on the eyes yet to give my review on whether they crease on me or not, they have a similar formula to the previous palette in general with a variety of shimmers that have slightly larger particles as well as some shimmers are finer. I will report back once I am back home and can actually test these in a few looks.
