No ☕️ mug memories from me this week but I want to see YOUR favourite mug! Make my day and post a picture of yours in the comments and if there is a story behind it I would love to read it 💜 😊

Today I’ve put aside time to replenish my own stash of herbal remedies. You too can make your own! I’m sharing this info on ways to extract the goodness from the herbs. It really depends on what herbs you want to use and for what reason and if you are using fresh or dried herbs.
My favourite is a tincture as it can be used with fresh or dried herbs and probably the most potent way of extraction. At least 40% v0dka will do the trick and will also work as a preservative. Chop up your herbs and place them in a jar, then pour over v0dka and leave for 6 weeks then strain off. As it’s quite potent you will only need a few drops or a dropper full that can be mixed with water or juice or placed under the tongue. There are more gentler ways to extract like vegetable glycerin and honey.
Today’s remedies:
🍃Mullein tincture
🧄Garlic honey
🌶️Fire cider (Acetum) (I have this daily with hot water, pineapple juice and honey)
🌿Rosemary tincture
🌿Elderberry oxymel
I have quite a few (tinctures mainly as they last for years) in my apothecary at the ready! 😊

✨Monday Mug Memories ☕️
This week’s mug takes me straight back to the excitement of walking through the gates of Universal Studios Hollywood. I was always a bit of a movie buff and to finally see where movies were made was such a great experience. From movie magic and being able to go behind the scenes to wandering through worlds I’d only ever seen on a screen. This was definitely where movie magic is made!
It was also a very bitter sweet trip….
This holiday to the USA was gifted to us when my husband was diagnosed with the terminal illness of Motor Neurone Disease. He was 32 yrs old. My boss at the time knew I had always wanted to go to Disneyland and visit the USA. After getting my husband’s diagnosis I was told to “book the holiday and I’ll write the cheque” 🥹🥲
Disneyland was fantastic, but not as fantastic as the time I got to spend with my husband, to see him also live his dream of visiting the USA. We lived our dreams together and special memories were made.

☕ Monday Mug Memories 🫎 ……on a Tuesday 🫢
Some people come home from Canada with photos of a moose...I came home with a mug!
One of my bucket list items was to see a moose in the wild. We crossed over the border into Canada on one of our USA trips as surely we would spot one! I set alarms for 5am (thank you husband..he rolls his eyes but puts up with my antics😂 ) and we drove for hours scanning every bit of the forest. Every day I was convinced “today” would be the day. But despite all those early mornings and hopeful searches... the moose never made an appearance.
It still eludes me to this day.
We did explore some of the most breathtaking places I’ve ever seen with some lovely friends…Jasper National Park, Lake Louise to name a few. Every bend in the road looked like it belonged on a postcard. Photos are beautiful but they don’t even begin to capture the magic of those places.
So while I never got to see my moose, I came home with something just as precious, many unforgettable memories... and this mug to remind me that sometimes the journey becomes the story.
Maybe one day that elusive moose and I will finally meet. Until then I’ll happily sip my coffee with this one instead. 🫎☕💚

🤯 “For when your brain won’t stop chatting” 😬
I think we all have those moments in this chaotic world and if you’re like me your brain is onto the next 20 things that need to be done, then you get so overwhelmed you just shut down and get nothing completed!! 🤯
I think we need to let the world slow down around us… even if it’s just for a little while. That’s why I created “Whisper of Calm” with a herbal infusion of chamomile flowers and a blend of mandarin, chamomile, lemon myrtle, violet leaf & vetiver oils to help ease the mind.
Take a load off…
Grab a cup of tea ☕
Light a candle🕯️
Grab a book 📖
🍃 Massage some balm onto temples, wrists or where ever you choose and don’t forget to breathe 🍃
✨Calmness doesn’t have to be found… sometimes it’s something we create. ✨

☕ Monday Mug Memories 🌙✨
I’ve always loved a great handmade mug. I’ve been eyeing off Hand Made Pottery mugs for some time but never got around to purchasing one and somehow now I have two! I will show the other one at a later date 😁
Found these beauties (the other is a bit of a twin but slightly different) on a local page, unused and gathering dust. There was zero self control involved especially as pick up was only as few minutes from home and I had to save them! 😂. Some things are just meant to come home with you and just meant to be!
The moon design and colours on this one had me straight away. Moons have always been my thing and you will find me outside on a full moon at ungodly hours during the night. There’s just something about them… a little bit grounding, a little bit magical, always quietly watching over.
There’s something different about drinking from a handmade mug too. Slower, cosier, a bit more intentional… like a tiny ritual to start the day, especially a Monday!

☕ Monday Mug Memories 🐈⬛🐈⬛✨
This week’s mug was a leap of faith purchase.. one of those mystery internet shops where you’re not entirely convinced anything will actually show up 😅
But somehow the odds were in my favour and this little cup arrived. My little witches…Lily & Alice.
You will hardly ever see these two curled up together like this so when I saw this today I had to take a picture! Maybe the colder weather had something to do with it 😊 They’ve each got their quirks with weird sleeping positions, the “must sit exactly where you don’t want them to” attitude and both have selective hearing… but honestly I wouldn’t change a thing. They bring the magic in the most ordinary moments ✨
My whole world (I best include husband in that too 😅) wrapped up in fur, attitude and questionable life choices (usually zoomies at 3am).
Would I trust that random internet shop again? Maybe.
Would I trust Lily & Alice to behave? Absolutely not.
But I do trust them to bring a little magic into every single day ✨
☕ Mug Message of the Week

✨Monday Mug Memories✨ From Denmark WA
This mug I grabbed from home before we left as it represents everything my parents taught us 💗
We (hubby, sister and brother in law) are currently down in Denmark to release Mum & Dad’s ashes. It is her birthday on Wednesday and also their wedding anniversary - perfect time 💜
Denmark…the place of many many family holidays when we were kids. So many memories made. Our family history takes us back to being the first pioneer settlers in the late 1800’s. Our great grandmother, in co-ordination with the local doctor, had the two front rooms of her house turned into maternity wards as there were no hospitals at the time. She would take the horse and cart and a little lantern with her to ride many miles..for days to help take care of mothers and new borns. We do have the book she has hand written in all the births from the early 1900’s. There is so much to this story and it’s fascinating and humbling.
☕ Mug Message of the Week
(This saying was on the wall at the Denmark Historical Society when we dropped off a lot of history to them yesterday) How true this is….
