Still trying to wrap my head around the fact that this is my first Sydney Film Festival nomination as a Makeup Designer!!!!! So incredibly grateful to have been part of a project filled with such talented, passionate creatives.

Screening as part of the Freak Me Out program alongside feature film IMPOSTERS to make it’s world debut on 5th June at 8:30pm at Event Cinemas George St and 12th June Dendy Newtown. Tickets are on sale now!!!!

I feel so lucky to have worked alongside a team that poured so much into bringing this strange little corporate hellscape to life. Huge congratulations to the entire cast and crew — so proud of what we created together! ⭐️

‘INTO THE WOODS’ — THE WOLF

Yungblud meets Johnny Depp in the 2014 adaptation of ‘Into the Woods’ — our take on the wolf for in ’s production of INTO THE WOODS 🌲

This look was all about structure: sharpening, lifting, and exaggerating the natural contours of ’s face to create something more angular and otherworldly. The goal was to blur the line between human and creature, and the result sits somewhere between rockstar and fairytale villain — I couldn’t be prouder of how this came together! 🐺

you are a superstar and were a pleasure to work with - thank you for being so patient in the chair even though the prosthetics could be difficult at times .. this is definitely a skill to put on the resume! And a massive thank you to for being the most perfect assistant on this job — I couldn’t have done it without you ⭐️

WEEPING ANGELS

DON’T . BLINK .

So I saw people doing the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who as a makeup trend on TikTok and I couldn’t resist .. 🪽 This was so much fun to create and is most definitely one of my cleanest looks to date . Using white foundation stick for the base, cream paint palette for all of the grey cream blends, and the Cremated eyeshadow palette for all of the powder blends - was so much fun to create a look only using shades from the grey scale !!! 🩶🪽🪦

‘INTO THE WOODS’ — THE WITCH MAKEUP TESTS

Makeup tests on for the character of ‘The Witch’ in ’s production of INTO THE WOODS 🌲 what a wild ride this was ..

A lot of alterations were made after this test as ’s character had to turn from the witch into a ‘beauty’ .. all in a 5 minute change. For this quick change to be flawless, I created a mask which the prosthetic was stuck down to, but also made sure it looked extremely natural around her eyes and mouth — not as though she was actually wearing a mask. This solution also meant saving Maddie’s skin from any potential damage from the adhesives.

This solved the problem for the quick change as when Maddie raced back to the chair, she removed the mask, we glammed her up extremely quickly, and the mask was placed back over her face. Maddie then re-entered the stage as the witch in time for her ‘on stage transformation’ into the beauty, which was an instantaneous change on stage and pure magic for the audience (makeup team hid behind the prop tree to make sure the mask and wig were removed in time haha!) 🍂

An album of my prosthetic sculpts from the past year - all with the advice and assistance of ✍🏽 It is an amazing feeling to see myself improve with skin texturing, detailing/texturing inside the wounds, and also knowing what tools are needed to execute the details/texture.

A massive thank you goes to for taking me under your wing and showing me all of your tips and tricks when it comes to sculpting prosthetic pieces 🌟 This isn’t alllll of the pieces I have sculpted however .. we’re working on some very exciting pieces for the future so keep your eyes peeled! 👀

WICKED WITCH OF THE WEST

She’s meltingggggg .. 💀💚 Using cream paint palette for the green base and the X Carnival III eyeshadow palette for contour and definition . clown white cream paint was used for the white base and black water based paint was used for all the black detailing; Cremated eyeshadow palette was used for definition on the skull .
