How Long Do Jumbo Braids Last? Let’s Talk!

At Braids by Liana, I specialise in jumbo braids – they’re bold, bright, and full of personality! But because they’re a looser, creative style, they’re not designed to be long-lasting.

Here’s what to expect:
Jumbo braids typically last anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks, depending on:
👉 Your hair type & texture
👉 How tight the braids are (jumbo = naturally looser)
👉 Your at-home care routine
👉 Your lifestyle – water, sweat & pillow friction can all play a part
👉 Even a snapped elastic can cause one to come loose – I recommend using a thicker hair elastic at the ends at night to help keep them secure while you sleep

I always do my best to secure every braid, but please note:
Refunds can’t be offered if braids come out earlier than hoped.
