Chakras - what are they? Over the next week I will be explaining in more detail what they are and what each one represents.

They are responsible for the spiritual and physical condition of a person - their character, fate, happiness and life goals. Chakras accumulate information about our past and present and in playing a karmic role.

Chakras must be opened and cleared from any blocks. Old insults, unnecessary memories, prejudice and lack of self-control can break the circulation of energy. Each chakra is connected to its own internal organs, so pain in them can indicate a disturbance of its work.

In conjunction with Reiki there are many practices that we can do to help cleanse them, such as
- meditation
- yoga & breathing exercises
- singing mantras
- self-control & right actions (helping people, charity, giving up aggression and envy)
- daily diet
- massages, body-oriented therapy

What is reiki? It is a question that is asked a lot & not many people know what it really is.
Reiki is a healing technique where the practitioner can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient's body and restore physical and emotional well-being.
It clears your main 7 chakras (yes there are many more!) to help bring you back in to alignment & to restore you again. It is recommended to have reiki performed every 4-8 weeks & is best to discuss with your practitioner (me!) how often is best for you 🙏🏻💖
