Measuring for your waist bead 🌙

On your own time, take a few deep breaths in & out. Once relaxed, place your measuring tape or a piece of string exactly where you want your waist beads to fall.

Waist, high hip or hip?

Waist line: Sits at the smallest part of your waist.

High hip: Sits just below your natural waist line & above the widest part of your hip.

Hip: Sits on the widest part of your hip, close to your lower belly.

Your waist bead will have extra spaces for adjustment for those days where you need a little wiggle room. Unless you’d prefer a non adjusting waist bead.

If you have any questions, please message me! 🦋

Hello hello
Welcome to this space of handcrafted waist beads ✨

Waist beads have an incredibly rich African & ancient Egyptian history representing meanings of femininity, spirituality, status & womanhood. As they serve many purposes, waist beads are also a beautiful way to pay homage to cultural heritage.

I absolutely love the time spent to create a piece so personal & fitting. Confidence, balance, body awareness & being in touch with your inner energy is what comes to mind when I’m designing & creating a waist bead – a few things that I believe embody a strong woman.

Each waist bead, made with love & intention, is uniquely customised to your preferences of colours, tones, sizes, & materials which are sourced from local Australian suppliers. With the hope to elevate self-love & a deeper connection with yourself 🫶🏽

Thank you for taking the time to read about Bititi Beads, I’m looking forward to hearing from you! Please direct message for a chat, custom orders or any enquiries.

Although it’s an extra step to your washday, it’s definitely worth considering a pre-poo treatment.
Pre-poo is a protective moisturising treatment prior to shampooing your hair.
It’s super important to consider that pre-pooing might not be for everyone as it won’t benefit their curls like others. Those who have tighter curls and textures, shrinkage, and/or dry hair, incorporating a pre-poo will be a life saver 🙌🏽✨

Curl types…

One of the first steps to keeping your hair healthy is understanding your curl type.

All curls are different, which can make the decoding process hard. But once you get a feel for your unique curl pattern, you’ll know what to look for when it comes to shopping hair products!

As a side note…Don’t forget, it’s not all about identifying what curls you have. Yes it’s a good starting point, but it’s important to look into other aspects of caring for your curls, like the porosity of your hair. This is something we’ll get into soon!
