Hi I’m Rachael 👋🏻

I’m a Registered Nurse working for Dr Marion Chan - Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon

If I’m not helping Ms Chan with our pre/post op patient journeys, you’ll find me completing my beautiful breast cancer survivor patients journey with cosmetic tattooing. 💕

I also offer cosmetic injectables to assist patients with feeling more confident each day. 💉

As a nurse, I love finding ways to support all patients to live a happy, meaningful life.

In February this gentleman came to Luxe Restore to undertake some scar camouflage treatment after an accident a few years ago that resulted in these two scars.

Can’t wait to show you the progress we have made after just one session!!

Just a little about me ✨

My name is Rachael and I’ve been a registered nurse for 8 years.

I have been working with Ms Chan at Marion Chan Plastic Surgery for the past two years.

I’ve loved all the interactions with all my patients and watching them go through their journey with Ms Chan.

When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my busy four year old daughter & my husband. I love spending time with family and catching up with friends for coffee on the weekends at my favourite cafe.

I love animals , I have two Labradors and two cats.

I have always wanted to be a nurse , to me nursing isn’t a job it’s a passion 💕

💕 Please only swipe across if you’re interested in seeing post breast cancer ni**le tattoos 💕 This beautiful lady had her reconstruction over ten years ago and she was able to have her ar**la tattooing done via the public hospital 6 years ago. Since then a lot has changed , we are now able to create a 3D ar**la appearance on skin flaps where no ni**le reconstruction has taken place. The gentleman’s scar is from triple bypass surgery 17 yrs ago.
During his session I colour matched , this process is done to allow me to match the pigment to your skin colour as close as possible. I am able to mix different pigment colours together to try to match your skin tone.
I’m looking forward to seeing these results in a few weeks ✨

Breast Reconstruction 🧡

When I first started nursing I was working in oncology , I came across so many brave souls who were all fighting different types of cancer.
When I started working among plastics and breast surgeons I met so many beautiful people who were going through their cancer battle , yet at this time I met my first breast reconstruction patient. She had gone through a DIEP reconstruction & came across so confident in her skin. When it was just the two of us in the room she confessed how when she looked in the mirror she didn’t feel like a woman, she had no ar**las or ni**les due to her reconstruction. She was on the public waitlist to have them tattooed on but would be waiting a while. I saw her a year later & she informed me of how she had finished her breast cancer journey the day she got her ar**las tattooed on. The feeling I get when I can give back to someone what was taken away due to cancer is one of the best feelings.
I can’t wait to help people close a difficult chapter in their life 🧡
