Appreciation post because I’m learning to love myself. We’ve been conditioned to not love ourselves, to see only our flaws and imperfections. People mask insults with backhanded compliments and jealousy is often masked with “jokes”.
I’ve always picked myself apart, even when I was young and firm and at an unhealthy weight.
I know in 10 years from now I’ll look back at the body I have now in admiration so I’m going to post the pic. I’m done hiding. I’m in my 40’s, I’ve carried and birthed 2 babies, I’ve worked many, MANY jobs and this body carried me through it all.
