I make various types of jewellery, including glass-dome pendants and earrings, teething jewellery and hair accessories. A lot of my craft is inspired by my travels through Africa. “Desta” means ‘happiness’ in Amharic, the language spoken in Ethiopia.

What to do on a hot a Saturday evening while you husband is at work? Start a new crochet baby blanket!!! This time I'm trying a new pattern, the 12 point star ripple design. I love this blue/green yarn 😍
