A little reality check from behind the scenes of a small business 🤍
Being busy doesn’t always mean a business is thriving. Behind every product on our shelves and every parcel we pack are rising costs - stock, rent, wages, freight, insurance, packaging and card processing fees.
From 1 October, Organic Instinct will be absorbing these card fees. They will not be passed on to our customers. It’s simply another cost that comes with keeping a small, independent health store running.
We’re not sharing this for sympathy, but to offer an honest glimpse into the reality of running a small business. Every purchase, like, comment, share, review and recommendation helps more than you may realise.
Despite the challenges, it’s the conversations, familiar faces and beautiful community around us that make it all worthwhile.
Thank you for continuing to support Organic Instinct. We truly wouldn’t be here without you. 🤍

Important update for our Organic Instinct community 🤍
As part of our ongoing product checks, we’re currently unable to confirm the Halal status of the beef and chicken sourcing used in Best of the Bone bone broth.
The products do not contain pork, pork-derived ingredients, alcohol or any other ingredients prohibited under Halal dietary requirements. The concern relates only to whether the animals were slaughtered in accordance with Islamic requirements, which we’re currently unable to verify.
We take our customers’ religious values seriously, so we have removed all Best of the Bone products from our shelves and online store.
Best of the Bone is taking responsibility for refunds for products purchased from Organic Instinct during July or August. Please email [email protected] within 14 days with your email receipt or a photo of the product, along with your bank details.
Please swipe through the carousel for the full update.
We sincerely apologise for any concern or inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your understanding and for trusting us with your dietary requirements. 🤍

What’s really causing your symptoms? 🌿
Welcome to Part 3 of our 6-part Naturopathic Principles series with Hakan.
Today we’re looking at one of the most important principles of naturopathy: Identify & Treat the Cause.
Rather than simply looking at a symptom in isolation, naturopathy encourages us to dig deeper and ask why it may be happening in the first place.
Because sometimes, what we’re experiencing on the surface is only one piece of a much bigger picture.
🎥 Watch Part 3 as Hakan explains what it means to identify and treat the cause and why this principle plays such an important role in naturopathic care.
Save this series and follow along for Part 4: Treat the Whole Person. 🌿
There is no one-size-fits-all approach in naturopathy because no two people or health journeys are exactly the same.
In this new six-part series, Hakan will break down the six core principles of naturopathy and explain how they guide a more individual and holistic approach to health.
Part 1: First, Do No Harm
This principle is about beginning with the safest and least invasive approach possible supporting the body without causing unnecessary harm.
Watch as Hakan explains why this principle sits at the heart of naturopathic care.
Follow along for the full six-part series as we explore treating the cause, supporting the whole person, prevention and more.
