There’s a loop that a lot of us are stuck in, and most of us don’t even realise we’re doing it 🤷♀️
➡️ Set it up. Seek it out. Receive it. Repeat.
There’s nothing inherently wrong with it. We all need connection, reassurance, and the occasional pat on the back 🐶
But when you’re going round and round that roundabout 🚙 (sometimes with two or three loops running at the same time 😅), it gets exhausting.
AND, HERE’S THE THING: you never quite feel better for long enough 💀
One day though, an exit appears… 🗺️
And when you finally take it… when you choose self-validation over seeking it from everyone around you… there is no truer, better feeling than feeling good about yourself, all by yourself 🤗
That exit exists. And I can help you find it 🔍
Send me a DM if you’re interested in working with me 1:1, and let’s see how I can help 💬 🙋🏼♀️

For 47 years, I looked outside of myself to feel good about who I was.
This is how I stopped — and how I now help other women do the same.
DM me the word VALIDATE to find out more 🙏
When self-promotion gets squashed in childhood, self-validation never gets the chance to exist 💔
That was my story. And unpicking it as an adult was one of the most important things I’ve ever done 👍🏻
If your story sounds similar, and you’re looking to feel good about yourself (and everything you stand for), send me a DM about my Validate Yourself mentoring 💡
If there’s someone in your life who belittles, undermines, or dismisses you every time you share a success, a talent, or something you’re quietly proud of - I want you to hear this…
❌ It was never about you.
✅ It was always about them.
Someone who is truly comfortable with their own worth has no need to shrink yours.
If this resonated, drop a 💡 in the comments
Burlesque show debrief! 💃
Thanks to for this amazing photo of me in Burlesque class recently 💃
11 sleeps until my next live show. Can’t wait! 😜
Our millionth trip to Croatia, and somehow I still found a new way to scare myself: swimming 🏊🏻♂️
Not far. Not fast. Just out past the point where I couldn’t touch the bottom and back again 😅
That’s been a fear of mine for as long as I can remember, and I’ve spent most of my life avoiding it rather than facing it. Today I didn’t 🙌🏻
The water was exactly the same as it always is. The only thing that changed was what I let myself believe about it 🥹
Most self-worth work isn’t about becoming someone braver. It’s just discovering the fear that lives in your mind is mostly made up of old stories — in my case, childhood fear around water — and letting your nervous system know it’s safe to proceed 🛟

I’ve shared a lot of content on building up my self-worth + releasing my need for external validation recently, and I wanted to share the process I go through with my 1:1 clients, so that you know exactly what to expect from working with me 🙏
Note: the order may shift, depending on where you are when we start, but this is broadly what our work together looks like:
✅ STOP THE BEHAVIOUR We press pause on your external validation behaviour. Not forever, not all at once - but we start to notice it, name it, and interrupt the pattern.
✅ GET REAL We take a look at all of the people, places, and online spaces where you’re regularly seeking and receiving validation. A lot of clients find this fun once they get into it! 😅
✅ CHILDHOOD PRAISE Were you praised for good behaviour and putting others first? For achievements, grades, winning, performing? What you were praised for tells us a lot about where you’re still seeking approval as an adult.
✅ SELF-VALIDATION This looks different for everyone, and that’s the point. For some people it’s a growth list. For others it’s a simple phrase we uncover together - something that begins to remind you of your own value. I noticed early on in my own journey that “I am worthy” didn’t land for me at all, but “I am unique” did. We find your version of that together.
✅ WHAT’S MISSING? This is where it gets interesting. We explore what experiences, emotions, or creative outlets were missing in your childhood - and we look at how to fill those gaps. For me, that looked like taking up burlesque and getting back into sewing. Both have given me more genuine pride, growth, and comfort zone stretching than almost anything else in my adult life.
✅ SELF-TRUST We look at who you currently turn to when you have a decision to make, and we start to gently bring that authority back to you. One of the questions I constantly come back to in my own life, and with my clients is simply: “What’s one thing I can do right now that will move me forwards?” It sounds small. It isn’t.
✅ ONGOING SUPPORT One thing that was missing on my own journey was having someone in my corner between the big moments which is why...
