This took me a minute to make, for very obvious reasons.
This is a little of the first week of this huge journey I’ve been on and gees, what a time. I’m literally still so happy that it could happen and I’m excited for what’s to come but by heck, it has been hard. By far one of the hardest things I’ve done.
The first day- horrendous, truly. The next 3 days- so terrible. The 3 days after that- bad. Since then I’ve been improving a lot and the past week I feel better, still in pain but much more awake and manageable.
Am I happy with the results so far? Well I guess you’ll have to wait n see.

I get asked this every time I do an ama on stories, many times over. This answer could go on for hours, let’s be honest, but here’s a start and I think it’s an important point, especially the last bit. It can be a hard pill to swallow for some but it’s important to note, I think.

I guess it’s actually been a huge year for me. The hugest actually maybe. I always out my best face forward, whatever it looked like.
It was hard, it still is but- going through it and sharing so much of it, but it’s all totally worth it.
You all have cheered me on so much and I can’t thank you enough for that. Much love x

Tw- some bruising/incisions/blood
I’m still getting there, loves, but I’ve come a long way in the past 7weeks. A lil dump of some moments along the way- around the initial recovery and more recently, getting back to feeling myself. X
(And pls tell me if you think my idea in the last pic is a good one) ?
I’ve had a rough few weeks, mentally, which was really helped by going back to the surgeon this week and having pics taken. Something about seeing the before and current picture side by side in his office calmed this part of me that waa stressing. I’ve heard a lot of opinions about my face in the last few weeks in the salon; mostly lovely, a lot- strange and confusing. It’s very easy to second guess things and convince yourself of something that isn’t quite true when your fave changes all of a sudden.
But I got a nice reminder that things did change a lot- the way I wanted and for the reason I wanted them to. Not for others, for me. Not to look appealing, to look like myself.

I can’t believe this is a real pic taken of me ahahaha . Out of context it’s so funny and in context probs not as much. This was from my fundraiser last night - ‘She’s got a point’. It went so well! We all had such a blast laughing at ppls silly, sweet, h***y and bizarre hyper fixations. It was so q***r and wonderful.
Everyone who came- THANK YOU! Especially to the speakers and volunteers on the bar etc! You all are literally the best and I love you!
It’s so hard to ask for help. Esp for something so personal but I’m feeling very supported, loved and heard by the community.
