Today’s review is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Satin Lipstick in Rose Dream!
I absolutely love the packaging, and the lipstick went on so nicely. It feels really moisturising and hydrating on the lips, making it comfortable to wear. 💕
As it’s a satin lipstick, it may not be the longest-lasting lip product. Satin formulas generally aren’t known for being especially long-lasting, regardless of the brand. The kiss test showed that it does come off a little, but it still leaves some colour behind.

I really like the light texture — it feels lovely on the skin and you don’t need to use too much. After applying it, my skin feels soft, smooth and hydrated. 💧✨
Of course, this is only my first impression, so I’ll keep using it and see how my skin feels over time.

Today’s review is the Quick Flick Quick Lip Tri-Peptide Butter Glaze in Jam Donut!
It glides on so nicely and feels moisturising and hydrating on the lips. I love the soft, gel-like, bouncy applicator, and the locking mechanism is such a great feature for keeping it secure.
The colour is gorgeous, too! 💕 The kiss test does transfer a little, but it still leaves some colour behind, as you can see.

I was given a toasted sandwich when I came out of surgery last night… and let’s just say, it wasn’t great! 😂 But this morning’s porridge was actually really good. 🥣❤️

Just a little surgery update… I’m doing okay! 😊

I’m feeling a little drowsy and have a little bit of pain at the moment, but overall I’m doing alright.

Since injuring my shoulder, I have to say Homely Coverlets have been a lifesaver! 💜
I discovered them last year, and as much as I love a doona, my injured shoulder (and now my other shoulder too!) definitely doesn’t! 😩
Doona’s can be heavy, and when you have an upper-body injury, simply pulling the doona up over yourself can involve a LOT of pain and difficulty.

I’ve just changed over from my winter one, which has a gorgeous Sherpa backing, to a lighter one for the warmer months - before I head to surgery today.
