The Spirit That Remembers Running

The elders say freedom is not taken,
it is remembered in the bones of the living.
It arrives when the heart stops resisting the wind,
and learns that all paths are temporary—
but the soul is not.

There is a sacred messenger of movement,
carrying the truth that stillness is never emptiness.
It teaches the land how to breathe forward,
how grief can become strength,
and strength can become trust.

The circle of life is never broken, only turning,
like prayer spoken without sound.
What runs through the earth is not escape—
it is devotion to becoming,
without forgetting where it began.

The old teachings say companionship is holy,
when it honors without owning.
To walk beside another spirit is to listen deeply,
to share the weight of silence,
without asking it to stay.

And so the journey continues like memory in motion,
unbound, yet never lost.
Each step a vow to the unseen balance,
each breath a return
to what has always been wild and whole.
