Wildflower Hair

There’s something exciting about watching a vision slowly come to life.

Next Friday, both the salon walls and the dated orange brick walls will finally be painted. The brick will be limewashed, giving the space a much softer feel.

The old fluorescent lights have already been replaced with new downlights, and I can’t wait to unpack the new furniture and trolley once everything is finished. Storage is limited at the moment, so they’ll stay in their boxes just a little longer. A new curtain will also soften the large front window.

This November marks four years since I became the owner of Wildflower Hair.

This renovation isn’t just about updating the salon. It’s about creating a space that feels more like Wildflower Hair.

Owning my own business has taught me so much, both professionally and personally. There have been challenges, plenty of lessons, and moments that have pushed me outside my comfort zone. Looking back over the past four years, I’m proud of what I’ve built, and I’m grateful to every client who has trusted me to be part of their hair journey.

There’s still more to come over the next couple of months, but next Friday marks a significant milestone. I’m looking forward to seeing the vision I’ve had for Wildflower Hair continue to come to life ✨

153 days until Christmas 😳

I’m still getting used to not working Saturdays. After 38 years of working them, I think it’ll take a little while. At the moment, Saturdays feel like Sundays. But I have to say, I’m really loving this stage of my work life.
