UVA and UVB are the rays that can reach us and pe*****te the skin if not protected. This causes damage to our collagen and elastin fibres in our skin causing what we call premature ageing. Due to this we then start to lose our suppleness and strength in the skin. Even though we naturally lose these as we age past 25 years old, exposure without protection enhances how quickly!
Now the number on your sunscreen for instance "SPF 15." What this means for you is that SPF 15 will protect your skin up to 93%. SPF 30: 97%. SPF 50: 98%.
