Today Nyoka from Narrandera Shire Council presented the school with a mounted picture of the drone photo of the Aboriginal Flag that was made using students of the Narradera AECG. This was an 2025 NAIDOC activity and involved students from seven local schools and one pre school.

🌟 The Big Feed Information Session – Narrandera 🌟

We had a fantastic session at Gundyarri with 9 enthusiastic young people from Narrandera High School & St Francis Leeton , who came together to brainstorm creative ways to market a product, develop a brand, and design a logo. 👏🧠🎨

This is just the beginning! Over the next 12 months, The Big Feed will be working in the Narrandera region to support young people, women, and their families with practical, community-led workshops focused on cooking and nutrition.

We're passionate about helping young people shop smart, grow food, cook well, and eat to nourish their minds and bodies – building lifelong skills for a happy, healthy life. 💚🍎🍳

Working in partnership with the Yulang Committee, and alongside other youth service providers and local charities, we're committed to empowering communities doing it tough by building capacity for food-based solutions that work for them.

A reminder that tomorrow is a casual clothes day with students and staff asked to wear a black or red top.
In conjuction with the Narrandera Shire Council and the Narrandera AECG, Narrandera High School will be hosting seven schools as part of the Aboriginal Flag Recreation Community Celebration.

Wednesday 17 September - in conjuction with the Narrandera Shire Council and the Narrandera AECG, Narrandera High School will be hosting seven schools as part of the Aboriginal Flag Recreation Community Celebration.
Narrandera High School students and staff are asked to wear either a red or black shirt/jumper as our contribution to the Aboriginal Flag. Students can wear casual clothes on the day with their red or black top.
Members of the community are invited to join in with the organisation for the photo beginning at 1:30pm.
