Our Dawn Patrol Moisturiser is a bit of a legend. Ironically, people talked about it in hushed tones. Maybe it’s because of the super stack of marine derived ingredients or maybe it’s because of the score it prompts in leading skincare apps.

Dawn Patrol combines Niacinamide, Sodium Hyaluronate, Squalane and ocean-derived Bladderwrack Extract to help strengthen your skin barrier, lock in hydration and keep your skin feeling balanced throughout the day.

Lightweight, fast-absorbing and built for life outdoors.

Always a great track to get your weekend started. Suns out, surfs alright and possibilities abound.

First Point is more than a cleanser. It’s your reset button after long days in the sun, salt and surf.

Powered by sea kelp, red algae, finger lime and sodium hyaluronate, it washes away dirt, sweat and zinc while helping maintain your skin’s natural moisture balance.

No harsh stripping. No tight, dry feeling.

Just clean, balanced skin.

There’s something about the bright lights of a footy field on a cold winter night.

You see them from the road, cutting through the darkness. Kids pulling on jerseys. Parents on the sidelines telling stories about when they were playing.

For generations, those lights have meant more than sport. They’re community. They’re routine. They’re friendship. They’re a reminder that no matter what’s happening in the world, some traditions still bring us together.

Winter in Australia isn’t complete without them.

Jack Kerouac, often called the godfather of the Beat Generation, inspired a movement built on freedom, curiosity, creativity, and living life on your own terms.

At Ninth Wave, that spirit still resonates. The ocean, the open road, good conversations, and the belief that experiences matter more than possessions. If you can read, “On The Road” and not get itchy feet, you should go and see your Doctor.

I like a walk or two myself. On three occasions I’ve legged it from Noosa to Peregian after a night out. Each time I’ve said never again. Is it comparable to the story below? More than likely but I’ll let you be the judge.

In 1983 a young explorer Jeff Shea set off across the uncharted Highlands of Papua New Guinea starting his journey near Lake Kopiago travelling on foot through isolated mountain villages, dense rainforest and the dangerous Strickland Gorge.

Sometimes he walked alone with no roads or maps. Sometimes local Papuans guided him from one village to the next, often refusing to continue farther into unfamiliar tribal territories.

After weeks in the mountains Jeff built a raft from jungle logs tied together with vines and floated down the Ok Esai, Frieda, and Sepik Rivers toward Ambunti.

The expedition lasted 39 days. At that time no one had ever completed the route before. That spirit of adventure that burns within him is something to aim for.

Thanks to Jack for this perfect little pic.

A stand-up young fella with a heart of gold all set for a weekend of adventure up at Double Island Point (hopefully the rain holds off).

Jack recently purchased our Body & Face Essentials Kit so it’s more then likely that he’ll be sharing his tent with two or more tonight.
