Pear and Paint Club

Thank you to all the beautiful Perth parents who brought their delightful children to one of my Easter workshops these school holidays! 🤍🐰

It is such a joy to welcome them all into my green space amongst trees, flowers, buzzing bees & happy hens, where masterpieces & memories are made 🌳

These cute clay Easter figures were made with clever little fingers & FIMO modelling clay. 🐰

Great for fine motor skill development, creativity & role play, FIMO really is a wonderful medium to work with. 🐣

When you can’t decide which is cuter … the students in your class or the sweet painted rabbits! 👦🏻🐰🧒🏼🐰

While the chocolate ice cream was churning away, we got ‘bunny’ busy with our watercolour paints.

We couldn’t think of a better way to spend a sunny afternoon than making and eating home made chocolate ice cream 🍦 😍 🍫

These workshops are one of my favourite…creamy ice cream made from just a few simple ingredients… eggs straight from my chicken’s coop, milk, cream, vanilla extract, sugar … and spoonfuls of velvety melted Lindt chocolate!

🐓 thick, white card and printing foam by
🐓 sponge rollers available
🐓acrylic paint

🐰Students use a pencil to etch their design on foam
🐰Paint over design using roller
🐰Place thick white card onto foam & rub over with hands or a wooden rolling pin
🐰Carefully peel back card for the big reveal!

Our junior class produced these striking pieces inspired by Australian artist

We discussed Anna’s love of colour and her appreciation for Australian flora and fauna.

We used canvas squares from a wide range of acrylic paints from and then applied a layer of to produce a matte gloss finish!

I know it’s a little old fashioned, but I want little ones to know that feeling of excitement when a personalised letter arrives in the post box! 📮

I’ve been doing this for 20 years now, and many parents say it is the sweetest gesture & their kids love it! 📮

We finished off our series of Christmas workshops with a design & build project! These sweet 3D Gingerbread Houses involved cutting out a template, folding, gluing and designing!

We especially loved using parchment paper on the windows, cutting cute silhouettes such as Christmas Trees, which then were illuminated with little LED tealights tucked inside the houses. 🤍🤍🤍

These cuties created the sweetest Festive Fabric Wreaths using strips of Christmas textiles.

Perfect for developing fine motor skills, muscle strength & an eye for colour arrangement!

Festive & Funky 🌲🌲🌲

The students in this workshop were busy designing festive & funky bears on wooden discs, adding sprinkles of snow and delightful detail!

Our all time favourite pens were used to add that pop of colour, ready to hang on the tree.
