Say it with me: UV. Not temperature.
Meet Paul. Paul is one of our customers living in Canada. He is a scientist studying lakes and part of his job is riding the snowmobil to these lakes! Earlier this year, we received a lovely email saying how our sunscreen is protecting him and his team 😍
Did I think our sunscreen will be used by people in Canada? Not really 😅
But am so happy they do! Paul tells me a typical winter's day in Canada can be as cold as -26°C, sunny and plenty of snow on the ground 🤯
Despite the freezing temperature, He still wears sunscreen every single day.
Why? Because he knows UV rays matter more than the temperature. You can get sunburned even when it's freezing. He learned this the hard way 😆
In fact, snow reflects up to 80% of UV rays back at your skin, and cold air does nothing to block them.
Here's the rule: sunscreen is needed whenever the UV index hits 3 or higher. In Australia, that's most days of the year.
Remember: Sunscreen isn't just a summer thing. It's an all-year-round kinda thing. Paul gets it. Do you?
