Indian sandalwood has been listed on the ICUN Threatened Species Red List since 1998, and even today its population continues to decline.

It is important to us that our Indian sandalwood trees are grown and watered sustainably and harvested ethically, to ensure that this royal tree can continue to be treasured by future generations to come.

The value of the Indian sandalwood tree lies in the heartwood. In order to unearth this treasure trove of natural benefits, the bark and outer sapwood must be removed.

Our trees are desapped by hand, the only manual de-sapping process in practice in Australia. This helps us to reduce not only our carbon emissions, but also our energy usage.
