Lead is a heavy metal and toxic to human health. Women swallow about 2 kg of lipstick in their life time so please buy lead-free. I personally only wear Logona lipsticks.http://bit.ly/logonalipsticks These are certified organic and DO NOT contain any lead.
A quick way to check for lead in your lipstick is to rub some lipstick on your hand, then using your 18K ring, rub the lipstick and if it changes colour and black appears, it contains lead and throw it out!
