Today the ORCA pod 🐋 had the pleasure of getting out and about, visiting Anytime Fitness Safety Bay and catching up with Luke from Warrior Clothing!

We had some awesome chats, plenty of laughs, and some really important conversations around mental health, checking in on people, opening up, and simply being there for one another. 🫶

Sometimes a “How are you going?” can turn into a much bigger conversation — and that conversation might be exactly what someone needs.

As a pod, we reckon looking out for each other is pretty important. Whether it’s a mate, a work colleague, a family member, or someone you haven’t spoken to in a while… reach out, check in and have the chat. 💙

You don’t need to have all the answers. Sometimes just listening is enough.

Mother & Daughter on the Tools

How good is this!

Megan and Isabellah — mother and daughter, both riggers, and currently working side by side in the Pilbara with one of our valued crane clients.
This one is even better for us because it’s Isabellah’s first job with ORCA, and she’s absolutely smashing it. She’s settled into the crew, getting stuck in and doing a great job alongside Megan and the other members of the ORCA pod on site.

There’d have to be something pretty cool about heading off to work in the Pilbara with your mum and getting to work alongside each other doing the same trade. 💪

We love seeing our people doing well on site, and it’s even better when we get moments like this.

A big thanks to our client for continuing to support the ORCA crew and giving our people the opportunity to get out there and show what they can do.

ORCA Recruitment (Australia) has been featured in the latest edition of Cranes and Lifting Magazine

When we started ORCA, the goal was never to simply become another labour hire company.

We wanted to build something genuinely connected to the Australian crane industry — a business that understands the people on the ground, supports our clients properly and, most importantly, looks after the crew who wear the ORCA shirt.

To now see our story across the pages of one of the industry's leading publications is a pretty cool milestone.

But the article isn't really about a magazine feature.
It's about how far the pod has come and most importantly our people!

From an idea and a handful of people who believed in what we were trying to build, to a growing team, an incredible crew in the field, strong relationships across the crane industry and now the next chapter of ORCA taking shape.

We're still learning.
We're still improving.
And we're definitely still hungry & hunting.
