ROUGH CUTS BY E ✂️🤣💈
My little E has been threatening me for a while now that one day my shop will be hers 😂 So we thought, what better time to let her have her first crack at the clippers than during her brother’s fortnightly haircut!
There’s honestly nothing cooler than watching your kids take an interest in what you do every day!! She was SO keen to get in there and have a go!
For now, we’ll call it “Rough Cuts by E” 🤣✂️ but hey… you never know, she might be running this joint before we know it!
REMINDER GUYS! 🚢☀️
Make the most of the next 3 weeks, because we’ll be off on our cruise from 25th September and I’ll be back on deck 6th October!

HOLY HELL… WHAT A BIG DAY! 😮💨💈😂
First up, another massive CONGRATULATIONS to Grant & the family for taking home the Father’s Day beer stack! 🍻🏆
Perfect timing too, I reckon there’s just enough beer there to get him through the weekend! 😂🍺
A massive thank you to everyone who entered, liked, shared, tagged their mates and got amongst it. I absolutely love doing these giveaways and being able to give a little something back to the legends who support Spencey’s 🖤
And THANK YOU to everyone who came through the shop today! It was FULL ON from start to finish and didn’t stop all bloody day. As always, I appreciate everyone being so patient with the waits and keeping the laughs going amongst the chaos 🫶🏼
Lastly, Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, stepdads, grandads, uncles, brothers and all the amazing father figures out there. Whether you’re a dad by blood or simply the bloke who stepped up and chose to be there!! I hope you know just how important you are 🖤

You guys definitely didn’t forget about me while I was away! What an absolutely HUGE day back behind the chair. 🫠😂
A massive thank you to everyone who came in today and, as always, waited so patiently. I seriously don’t know how I got so lucky to have so many legends willing to hang around and wait their turn — I appreciate you all more than you know! 🖤

A little Friday housekeeping from Spencey’s 💈🖤
Firstly — you guys came THROUGH with the drink fridge suggestions! 😂🥤 I’ve been out and filled her right up with a mix of some of your favourites and a few of mine too. So next time you’re in, have a look and see if your suggestion made the cut! 👀
Now, just a couple of little housekeeping things I need to touch on.
CHILDREN IN THE SHOP 👦🏼✂️
There has been a big increase lately in children being dropped off or left at the shop by themselves for haircuts.
All children need to be supervised by a parent/guardian while they’re at the shop. As you all know, it can get extremely busy and when I’m cutting hair, I simply cannot safely supervise children around the shop as well. This is purely about keeping everyone safe. ❤️ If I’ve already spoken to you about this previously and it continues to happen, unfortunately I won’t be able to continue to cut you’re family’s hair!
WAIT TIMES ⏰
Spencey’s is walk-ins only and always has been. Some days you’ll walk straight in and other days there’ll be a line out the door — that’s just the nature of a walk-in barbershop, especially when there’s only one set of hands behind the chair. 😂
I can’t control how many people arrive at once or how long people choose to wait. I’ll always work as quickly as I can without compromising the quality of anyone’s haircut.
If the wait is longer than you’re happy with, I completely understand if you choose to come back another time or go elsewhere. But I can’t skip the queue, reserve spots or roll out the red carpet for anyone — everyone gets treated the same. 🫶🏼
And lastly, a reminder that Spencey’s no longer has a shop phone. 📵
If you need to contact me, please message the page. I promise I’m not ignoring you! Most days I’m flat out cutting from open to close and sometimes don’t even manage a lunch break, so replies can take a little while.
Thank you to the absolute legends who understand how the shop runs, happily wait their turn, keep me ridiculously busy and continue to support my little one-woman shop. I appreciate you more than you know. 🖤💈
